Hot Tub · Fire Pit · Lofted Tiny Home for Two
Frost is a lofted tiny home for two â small on square footage, generous where it counts. Queen bed under the eaves, private hot tub on the deck, fire pit stocked and ready for the night ahead. Part of Notestone Reserve, our family-owned 14-acre property in Laurelville â right in the heart of the Hocking Hills.
Perfect for anyone looking to slow down for a few days. Hot tub, fire pit, wooded setting, and no agenda.
The Space
Frost is one of four tiny homes in a small collection at Notestone Reserve. Each unit has its own outdoor space â privacy panels around the hot tub and natural shrub and tree coverage between units keep things feeling separate without being walled off. Most guests spend the whole stay in their own lane: hot tub, fire pit, patio. The shared game room is a short walk across the property when you want it, easy to skip when you don't.
Named for Robert Frost, who spent his career paying close attention to the woods around him. It suits the location.
Sleeping
âą Lofted queen bed with crisp linens â the beam above the bed sits approximately 29" from the mattress, so you'll want to sit up carefully. Once you're lying down it's perfectly comfortable; just something to know going in. âą Sleeps 2
Outside
âą Private hot tub â striped towels provided, hot tub and bath towels kept separate âą Propane grill with tools âą Woodburning fire pit â firewood and a starter log ready when you arrive. Extra wood in the outdoor box at the far end of the home or by the shipping container. Keep the lid closed so it stays dry. âą Seating for two with blankets for the cooler months âą Privacy panels around the hot tub and natural shrub and tree coverage between units
Inside
âą Lofted queen bed with crisp linens âą Kitchenette with cooking essentials â pots, pans, utensils, and a starter supply of basic pantry items âą Coffee bar: coffee maker, coffee, and tea âą Spa-style bathroom stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, and lotion âą Towel sets for every use: bath, hand, face, makeup, and dedicated hot tub towels âą Smart TV with streaming capabilities âą Bluetooth speaker âą Starter kit on arrival: 2 rolls of toilet paper, paper towels, a kitchen sponge, and trash liners. Worth packing a little extra for longer stays.

Getting Here and Getting Around
Notestone Reserve sits in the heart of the Hocking Hills â close enough to hit two or three trails in a day and still be back in time for the fire.
âą Rock House â 3.3 miles / 7 min âą Conkle's Hollow â 8.8 miles / 15 min âą Old Man's Cave â 11 miles / 20 min âą Ash Cave â 16 miles / 26-28 min
Cedar Falls, Cantwell Cliffs, and the rest of the state park system are all within a short drive. Cell signal on the back-country roads can be spotty â download your directions before you leave home.
Under normal conditions the driveway is accessible in just about any vehicle. During winter months when ice and snow are a factor, we recommend 4WD or AWD for the back roads leading in â the driveway to Frost itself is typically fine without it.
About the WiFi
We run Starlink satellite internet. It holds up well for most things â streaming, music, casual browsing. Video calls and long phone calls can cut out occasionally, especially on overcast days. If you're planning to work remotely, it can work, but plan for the occasional hiccup. We'd rather tell you upfront than have you find out mid-Zoom.
A Note on the Setting
We're in a wooded area and stay on top of regular pest control. That said, a ladybug or a curious spider showing up is just Hocking Hills being Hocking Hills.
House Rules
âą No parties or events, including bachelor/bachelorette groups. And no glitter â it genuinely never goes away. âą Registered guests only on the property âą No smoking or vaping anywhere on the property, indoors or out âą No fireworks, ATVs, hunting, or weapons on the property âą No commercial photography or video without written approval âą Hot tub: striped towels only, keep the cover on between soaks, and please don't adjust the temperature below 100 degrees â it takes several hours to recover âą Septic system: flush toilet paper only, no garbage disposal at the sink
Check-in: 4:00 PM / Check-out: 10:00 AM
All guests sign a short renter's agreement after booking. We'll send it over â quick, painless, and it helps us take good care of you and everyone else on the property.
This was my first time staying at a Tiny House and this one was lovely. I needed time away after the passing of my mom and this location gave me quiet and solace. Bed was very comfy and I enjoyed the hot tub listening to nature and the stillness. Host were quick to answer when I had a question. Kitchen well stocked and outside twinkle lights very pretty. Would love to go back again!
We had an absolutely lovely time at this spot. It checked all of the boxes and was exactly what we were looking for. It was unique, cozy, and was the perfect getaway for our 9-year anniversary. The proximity to trails and kayaking was also a plus. We will definitely keep Notestone on our list of spots to check out again when we come back to Hocking Hills. Thank you!
