Amazing Home

Our entire family loved this home. The host was great, and the house was amazing. The antiques and the set up of the rooms was very thoughtful. Plenty of space for our group of 10 to spread out and relax. The ground were beautiful. Beds were comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed. Overall I would highly recommend this property. We had a great time.

Great Spot and Gorgeous Home!

The house is absolutely gorgeous. Super spacious, so great for a large group. The house was decked out in Christmas decorations for the holidays as well! Would definitely stay here again. Was a perfect spot for my family for the holidays

Beautifully Restored & Elegantly Furnished Tudor

Before we ever entered the home we felt welcomed with Christmas lights and decorations. In town for a family Christmas, we chose to stay in the Grand Tudor rather than book hotel rooms. The house was large enough for 2 couples and a family with small children to have their own space while at the same time having many areas inside and in the yard to visit. The house invites you to wander through the rooms and admire the beauty of the architecture and furnishings. Mike is an amazing host and certainly provided for an unforgettable stay.We hadn’t anticipated a house fully decorated for the Christmas season but downstairs alone there were 12 Christmas trees. We certainly look forward to another stay!

Elegant home and good location.

The four of us were volunteers for the USGolf location. It was an easy 40 minute drive to the volunteer parking lot. All highway roads. Great golf in the area also. If you are a party of 10, the house is very spacious and you would not feel like you were bumping into each other.

VRBO gem

We felt lucky finding this property for a group of friends weekend trip. Plenty of space for 7 friend total. The house has a lot of charm with each bedroom having its own theme so to speak. Would definitely rent again!

Christmas in Laurinburg, NC

Christmas in Laurinburg, NC Our family returned to this home for the second time this year for a family Christmas with my mother who lives at Scotia Village. Michael is a phenomenal host. For the past few years, I have chosen VRBO stay over motels. This home is the exactly as presented and the host is on site. We have bedrooms for my family, a yard for the children to play, a fabulous kitchen and a living room in which to gather The house is stately, well decorated and restored and so comfortable. Michael had the house beautifully decorated for Christmas, all lit up and a google Christmas channel softly playing seasonal music. I just cannot thank him enough for his hospitality. I will be booking year three family Christmas weekend tonight.

Beautiful home for family to gather.

We were in town for a horse show at St Andrews College. The home was great for us to gather after the show and enjoy family. We had eight adults and the dining room was great for meals and a game of cards. The living room was a good gathering room too. The pillows were not the best, we bought a couple pillows at Wal-Mart. The beds were all very comfortable. We had two men staying in the twin bedrooms that were 6-1 tall. Only people under 5-4 should plan on using these two rooms because the antique wood bed frames made a tall person very uncomfortable with no room for their feet. One of the twin rooms does have a door to the outside so I would not plan on a child using this room. The bathrooms were ok; the showers were functional but could be upgraded. The kitchen was very nice. TVs only in a few of the bedrooms which was fine for us. We would stay here again. If a good hotel was cheaper that might push us back to that type of travel stay.

What a find

All I can say is thank you!!! This beautiful home brought our family together!! We celebrate Christmas here and it was a huge success!! Every piece of furniture and art work around the house made the flow work perfectly in this home!! I felt a sense of serenity walking around this home! It was clean and well kept!! This was a lil secret gem that I was so excited to find!!! I will be coming back!! Thank You Mike for a great stay!! We will talk soon for a future stay!! This home is great for family get togethers. Beautiful House

Very nice and clean home. Master bath tub / shower was a bit uncomfortable. Wish there was more than 1 Television. Great place to stay if you’re in the area.
