This house was great for a girls trip! I loved that it was so quiet and peaceful in the woods. Everything we needed amenity wise, this place had it! I would love to stay again
We paid a lot of money for our stay. Including a VRBO fee. (Hmmmm? Donât they get $âs from the property owners?) Paying a lot was not the issue, really. The place we stayed in was unfinished. There was a complete lack of trim throughout. There were several prominent places where there was exposed, unfinished drywall. Completely bare drywall. The cabin in which we stayed is located in the mountains, twenty plus miles from the nearest town. Our first night there were no less than ten power outages. A place this far from a town should have its own generator. Iâm sure most places around there do. We will not use VRBO or Comfy Cabins again.
3 generations enjoying a perfect thanksgiving weekend! Love our stay.
We had a great time at pine acres. Thanksgiving was so relaxing. Just a few items could have been better. The fridge froze items on the top shelf. Barbecue did not heat up. Otherwise perfect accommodations.
My family of 7 stayed at this cabin and had an amazing time. The house was spacious and perfectly laid out. We are already planning our next trip to come back! We canât wait to see how beautiful the cabin is in the winter time!
What a lovely property! The cabin was a great size and the outdoor property beautiful! We had a good time with friends and family! We were surprised, however, at the craftsmanship on the interior. I would think that for this price point drywall would be done, shower doors would be able to close, light switches would be consolidated and finishes at least decent. It wouldnât have bothered us at all if the price for the cabin was lower!
Renter beware!
Lets start with the pros. Great kitchen and hot tub. Sadly thatâs where it ends.
Rock hard beds, lumpy uncomfortable sodas and chairs with wafer thin cushions. No central air(window units in three of the bedrooms) and fans which kind of helped keep the downstairs a little cool. No windows that could open with screens to get a breeze downstairs. If you leave the doors open tons of bugs come in.
Lets talk about bugs⊠night on we opened the front door and watched about 100 carpenter ants scurry across the floor. The were coming out of the wood slats in the walls and the door itself. We killed most of them but saw more as the weekend went on.
Listing says there is Wi Fi but due to a power outage a week prion it had gone out. A useless jet pack had been out in its place which produced next to no signal that could be used by anyone. Also zero cell reception due to the remote location.
Tiny bathrooms and a front porch that one of our guests discovered had loose unsupported boards which could have posed a danger had anyone stepped on the hem unknowingly.
Bottom line this place is not worth what is being charged and the rental company couldnât be bothered to even call us about the issues, choosing to just email us. When told of the issues they said no one had complained about this property before and seemed to not care.
Last time I will rent a property managed by a rental agency.
This was the perfect choice for a our weekend getaway! The cabin was amazing in every aspect. It was exactly as advertised. The location allows you to choose where to spend a quiet time in the cabin and the hot tub or to take a short drive to visit local wineries or spend time enjoying all that Leavenworth has to offer. I highly recommend as you will not be disappointed.
