Beautiful, romantic and central

At 100 meters from Piazza Sant'Oronzo, from the castle of Carlo V and from all the rooms, a beautiful, spacious and bright apartment on the first floor of a historic building consisting of an equipped kitchen, a dining room, a living room, two bedrooms, a bathroom and two pretty little balconies. Star vaults in Lecce stone. Wood beams. Finely furnished, suitable for a couple, possibly with a child up to 1 year, who like to stay in the historic center and have everything within walking distance, without giving up their privacy. Not suitable for children.
The apartment is located in a small courtyard and has been recently renovated. We rent it at an absolutely promotional daily price considerably lower than the category average (it is a house and not a room!) because at the beginning of activity. We are very jealous of it! Inside you will find everything we thought you might need. Breakfast set, milk, coffee, tea and biscuits included. Also included is an exclusive welcome set for the bathroom and an excellent bottle of local Salento wine.
It is possible to access the court by car at the allowed times to unload luggage, but do not stop. The parking lots, for a fee, are 50 meters away. Free parking spaces can be found within 500 meters.
Very convenient for those arriving in Lecce by train.
A real bargain only for 2019, for attentive and respectful people, willing to reciprocate our courtesy.

During the stay, guests will have a phone number at their disposal to contact for any particular need.
The house has some simple rules that we ask our guests to respect:
1) Smoking is not permitted
2) We love animals, but unfortunately their access is not allowed, even if they are small
3) It is not allowed to move the furniture or change the distribution of the furniture
5) We love our home! Treat it as if it were yours!
6) Tourist tax not included equal to 2 euros per person for the first 5 days
7) The house has two double beds. If you want to use both, there is a supplement of 5 euros to be paid once

SĂ©jour au centre de Lecce

Luigi est un hĂŽte sans pareil: attentif et convivial et gĂ©nĂ©reux. Nous avons eu des problĂšmes de wifi, pendant plus d’une journĂ©e, dont il n’était pas responsable, il a communiquĂ© Ă  de nombreuses occasions avec le fournisseur et nous a amplement dĂ©dommagĂ©s. Une bouteille de vin de la rĂ©gion nous attendait Ă  notre arrivĂ©e ainsi que plusieurs items de base: bouteille d’eau, lait, cafĂ©, sucre et dĂ©pannage pour le petit dĂ©jeuner. L’appartement est grand, l’éclairage impeccable, le lit confortable, le tout Ă  2 minutes du centre. Étant un couple sĂ©nior avec certains problĂšmes de genoux l’accĂšs a Ă©tĂ© difficile: c’est une maison d’époque parfaitement entretenue mais avec 20 marches pour accĂ©der Ă  l’étage et encore deux Ă©tages pour accĂ©der Ă  la terrasse. Nous n’avons donc pas profitĂ© de cet espace. L’eau chaude nous a aussi causĂ© quelques soucis. Mais considĂ©rant la qualitĂ© de l’hĂ©bergement, la gentillesse du proprio et la proximitĂ© au centre, Ă  conseiller. Nous Ă©tions en transports public, Ă  15 minutes de la station. C’était parfait, apt climatisĂ© et bien insonorisĂ©.

Maison spacieuse et agrĂ©able situĂ©e dans le centre historique dans une impasse calme, une belle lumiĂšre et une terrasse sur le toit permet de se reposer. Logement trĂšs propre et dĂ©cor Ă©purĂ©. Un logement de charme

Au cƓur de la vieille ville de Lecce, l'appartement de Luigi est un havre de charme et de confort. Privacy in City Center

Fantastic property and location. Loved the rooftop terrace and 2 balconies—one facing each side of the cortile. About 3 minute walk to the heart of Centro Storico. I only want to warn that there are lots of stairs, so this would not work for those with mobility challenges. Also a but challenging—but do-able and worth it—if you have large luggage. Try to take a 22” bag or smaller if you stay here. It is very spacious and well equipped. An absolute gem and great value.

Fantastic Experience

Everything about our time in this home in Lecce was wonderful. The house really feels like home, all of the furnishings are very comfortable, especially the beds. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our occasional dinners, when we weren’t eating at one of the many great restaurants within walking distance. We were welcomed with a nice bottle of local wine and everything we needed for our first breakfast. As our visit was during colder weather we only had a couple of chances to enjoy an evening aperitif on the rooftop patio, it is very pleasant and I’m sure it would be great when warmer. I cannot say enough positive things about Luigi, our host. Aside from being just an incredibly nice person he’s very responsive and made sure that every aspect of our stay was outstanding.If we are in Lecce again we would absolutely stay in this home again, it was an outstanding experience.

Terrific stay

We spent 4 nights at this property in the Centro Storica of Lecce to begin a month long visit to Italy. We can highly recommend it to anyone who wants a comfortable and convenient apartment and enjoys an authentic Italian experience. The apartment was clean, spacious and had everything we needed to do our own cooking. Luigi, the property manager could not have been more helpful in providing information on what to see and where to eat (which we did twice just 20 steps from the apartment at Mama Elvira’s). The rooftop terrace was also very nice for al fresco dining when we cooked ourselves. This deserves 5 stars across the board.

Luigi ist ein sehr liebenswĂŒrdiger und zuverlĂ€ssiger Vermieter, der alles dafĂŒr tut, dass es einen GĂ€sten gut geht. Wir hatten fast tĂ€glich Kontakt und konnten uns mit allen Fragen an Luigi wenden. Zu unserer Überraschung war der KĂŒhlschrank gefĂŒllt. Es gab einen leckeren BegrĂŒssungswein, Wasser, Milch, Espresso und jede Menge Dinge, mit denen man ein gutes italienisches FrĂŒhstuck machen konnte. Die Wohnung ist grosszĂŒgig und wunderschön eingerichtet. Es gibt auch eine riesige Dachterrasse. Bitte beachten Sie, dass es viele Stufen gibt, die den Charm des Hauses ausmachen.

Beautiful, Spacious and Comfortable Apartment

This is a superb apartment with a private entry in the baroque city center of Lecce but away from the tourist traffic. It is near groceries, restaurants and shopping. There is a municipal parking lot very close by. The apartment is in a historic stone building; the thick walls and lofty ceiling (as well as air conditioning and a fan) keep it cool but there are plenty of wndows. The apartment has a rooftop terrace that is lovely in the evenings. The kitchen is well equipped and easy to use. The property manager was very attentive and welcoming.

Incredible location, home, and host

The photos accurately show how beautiful this home is, reflecting the architectural style in Lecce. The location was perfect, just a block or so from the Piazza Sant'Oronzo with its great bakery, gelateria, restaurants, and people, at the beginning of the main walking street in the centro storico. Kitchen is small but had all we needed for our 4-day stay. Rooftop terrace was lovely for an afternoon glass of wine. Everything in this large home was clean. We used both bedrooms - note that the upstairs bedroom has an open loft and the downstairs bedroom has a curtain for a door so for us, snoring echoed from one floor to the other. Host Luigi responded quickly to all my emails and WhatApp texts before and during the stay. He is over-the-top kind, thorough, and welcoming. We had the lucky opportunity to cross paths with him at the Rome train station and met briefly for coffee - he is warm and gracious. If I were to return to Lecce, I would stay here for certain. Highly recommended.

Great stay in the heart of historic Lecce

My husband and I stayed in Luigi’s place for 5 nights in April. It is large and comfortable, perfect for the two of us but would be great for 4 as well given the 2nd bedroom in the beautiful loft. Luigi was very responsive, and provided us with some welcome goodies and recommendations which were much appreciated. The location is superb, close to all the restaurants and sights, but nice and quiet at night. Grazie mille Luigi.

The apartment is a short walk from EVERYTHING and such a nice place to begin and end the day. Luigi checked in with me before, during, and after our stay, and he made sure we were fully taken care of. I highly recommend!
