Apartment of about 60 square meters in the center of Lecce consists of two large rooms, a bedroom with double bed with wardrobe, TV-HD, air conditioning and spacious marble bathroom complete with shampoo, towels and hairdryer
The second bedroom can be used as a living room or as a bedroom has a double sofa bed, a dining table for 4 and access to the terrace, small kitchenette but complete with everything including: cutlery, dishes, pots, kettle, coffee machine some coffee.

Located in the heart of Lecce in a quiet and characteristic court just a few steps from the most important monuments, just a minute walk to get to the Basilica of Santa Croce and Pzz Santo Oronzo, the two main monuments

The apartment has been obtained from the renovation of an ancient building dating back to the sixteenth century characterized by exposed walls in Lecce stone, high ceilings and the typical star vaults, sleeping here means to be in complete harmony with the style and tradition of Puglia.

Emplacement parfait,Seul bĂ©mol, la luminositĂ©. Impossible de laisser la grande porte du sĂ©jour ouverte car il n’y a pas de fenĂȘtre derriĂšre et elle donne directement au rez de chaussĂ©e dans la ruelle. Du coup la seule lumiĂ©re est fournie par deux appliques jaunes.

Le logement était de nature exceptionnelle, aménagé dans une ancienne église, avec une trÚs belle architecture utilisant des pierres calcaires blanches lumineuses.Situé en plein centre du quartier historique.Seul inconvénient: l'accÚs en voiture car nous sommes en pleine ZTL

Historical apartment in the heart of the center

Beautiful place. Easy access to site seeing areas. Fun getting lost in the maze of the historical area. The bed was comfy. The only heat we had was the towl warmer. But found an extra banket. Internet was non existing in room so hard to contact mgr to ask about heat. There was a miss communication about check in but it all worked out and we enjoyed our time.

Our stay in Lecce

We had a fantastic stay in Lecce. It's a beautiful city and our accommodation was in a very central location. However it was very hot when we were there, so the airconditioning unit was unfortunately not coping the best with the heat. Otherwise all good.

Lovely base in Lecce to explore Lecce

We found the place unique and loved it for that. An apartment in an old building with great character. We did find it a little dark but otherwise it met our needs for our stay. It was well located and large in size so plenty of room for our things without tripping over them. It was a surprise to have a daily service ensuring we always had towels and supplies. We were very happy with our stay.

3 night stay

A/C does not work for this size of a unit. Very hot and uncomfortable. I tell the owner to clean the filter to improve the A/C performance. Poor design and would not recommend staying in these units when it is hot outside.

Not as advertised. Unsatisfied!

We were not placed in the apartment that we booked months ago. It was likely in the same general area but upon arrival we were told to report directly to a different place and given a lockbox/key to get in. The manager was not on site and did not answer my phone call. When I messaged that this is not where we reserved I was told the other place had boiler issues. The apartment was HOT. There was air conditioning but it was not on. The bed near the ac was a pull out sofa! The other beds were lofted. It was doubly hot in the loft. I messaged the manager asking for a different place but she said it was impossible. We took a shower (tiny and grungy) and a nap and heard a mouse. The manager offered to reimburse me if I could find a new place to stay. She did not offer to find it. We slept that night on the pullout as the ac was not able to cool the loft before night. Very uncomfortable. In the morning we decided to stay since it had cooled enough to stay in the loft. We asked for a fan and it was delivered. We put the sofa back together and a tampon (unused) rolled out from underneath. Yuck. No wine opener. The dishes in the kitchen were sticky. Again, yuck. The bed was comfortable enough. The patio was a lovely place to sit. Finally, it was strange we were not told about the city tax that we were to leave 15 in cash when we departed. It seems shady to mention it and not be able to put it on the bill. Also didn’t ask for passports making us wonder if it’s legal. Disappointed.

Shear Perfection!

Our stay was exactly as promised in the listing. The pictures were lovely but didn't prepare us for the actual history and beauty of this former chapel. Chiara was delightful to assist with any questions.... extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Would recommend to our friends without hesitation.

Charming renovation of antique building in great area

Pros: The apartment was spacious and beautiful. The location was great, though parking more of a hassle than expected (see below). The host was very friendly. Cons: although parking is listed as am amenity, it is not included in the cost, nor is at the property; our hot water did not worked and wasn't fixed for more than 24 hours; air conditioning worked in only one room; the roof deck is not so charming as pictured, nor are the views (e.g., the amphitheater is nowhere near visible, as it is 500 meters and several turns away); the apartment we had, while beautiful and similar, is not one featured in most of the photos

Freundliche Betreuung,verlÀssliche Zusagen , Lage ruhig mit guter Anbindung zur Altstadt mit GeschÀften und Restaurants. Die Stadt lebt, mit vielen jungen Leuten (UniversítÀt) , gute Stimmung auf den Strassen , kunsthistorisch ein SchatzkÀstlein , auch Badeurlauber sind in ca 30 min an sehr schönen StrÀnden u.in weiteren sehenswerten Orten u StÀdten (Gallipoli,Otranto etc) M.Neumann

The “chapel” was never so romantic!

We LOVED staying in “La Chiesseta” with its 10th century frescoes, soaring ceilings and ancient wood doors opened for sunlight in the spacious kitchen and living area. The apartment is beautifully restored, and we had all we needed. The neighborhood was great with cafes around the corner and quiet when we wanted it. Ludo was a gracious host who took an interest in our visit and our comfort. And the bed was a dream! We were thrilled with our time here.

Great Location and Lots of Character

We had a good stay at the apartment in Lecce. It was clean, comfortable, and full of character. Great bed! We wished there were some sort of balcony or terrace, since there's not really a window in the living space, but one evening we opened the giant wooden doors out onto the street and enjoyed semi-open-air dining at the table. There's a charge if you use the stove, which seems a bit silly, but we used it and cleaned it and weren't charged. The location was terrific, in a great area of the old town, and Georgia, who interacts with the guests, was friendly and full of information and advice about what to do, including where to swim given current wind direction and where to find good traditional Puglian food.
