Villa Dei Fanti On The Sandy Beach, Lecce, Italy

Enjoy the perfect holiday with family or friends in this charming villa, just a short walk from the beach! The villa sleeps 6 to 9 people and is in an exceptional location, right by the Spiaggiabella on the Adriatic coast.

The property is surrounded by a wall which guarantees guests’ privacy and is particularly useful if you are bringing your pets. The courtyard garden extends around the whole house and includes a solarium area with sun loungers, as well as a swing seat and parasols.

Access to the house is via a shaded corner veranda which leads into the living area and the kitchen. The veranda, which has sea views, is furnished with a dining table and chairs for relaxed meals al fresco. Inside, the spacious living/dining room has a sofa bed, a flat-screen TV and a dining table and chairs. The separate kitchen looks out over the dunes to the sea. It is well-appointed with a cooker hob, oven, fridge/freezer and a coffee machine.

Sleeping
Bedroom 1: The master bedroom has a double bed and a single bed as well as a wardrobe.
Bedroom 2: The second bedroom has a double bed, wardrobe and an alarm connected to the local security patrol.
Bedroom 3: This bedroom also has a double bed and a wardrobe.
Extra: The sofa in the living room converts into a double bed.

Bathrooms
There are 2 bathrooms. One is larger than the other, but both have showers, basins, bidets and WCs.
Extra: There is an outdoor shower which is ideal after a day on the beach.

Location
The villa is next to a beautiful beach, with fine sand and a gently sloping shore which makes it particularly good for children and less confident swimmers. The beach has free areas and other parts where you can hire sunbeds and umbrellas for the day. The beach at Lido Bacino Idume also has canoes for rental and kite surfing or surfing for more adventurous holidaymakers.

The area is part of the Natural Park of Bosco e Paludi di Rauccio. So away from the beach, guests can explore the wetlands and woods, full of birds and rare plants.

For self-catering there is a small supermarket just 5 minutes walk from the villa, alternatively, there is the farmers market in Lecce (20 minutes) every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, where you can find the best local ingredients. Alternatively, the next-door town of Torre Chianca (5 minutes drive) has a range of restaurants, bars and cafés.

The city of Lecce, the “Florence of the South”, is a jewel of a city and well worth a visit. Not only for its long history but also for its excellent food and good shopping.

The closest airport is Salento Airport, in Brindisi - just 40 minutes away by car.
