Villa Katsika, the charm and one of the best sea view on Lefkada island

With its simple design, villa Katsika will enchant you: a 4000 meters plot with olive trees, carob trees and strawberry trees …an outstanding situation for a peaceful stay, enjoying the exceptional sea view in an idyllic setting.
Around the villa, the Mediterranean vegetation, with bougainvillea, rosemary, oleanders and lavenders, mixes with more tropical plants such as hibiscus, ficus, strelazia, and with the scents of jasmine and honeysuckle.

The recent construction is respectful of environmentally-friendly standards: Canadian well, good insulation, outside great pergolas but also ventilators for those searching for more freshness.

A south facing balcony over a secret little pebble cove with a small path leading to it (only a five minutes’ walk), offers a panoramic view of the Ionian sea, strewed with its mythical islands, Ithaca, Kefalonia, Meganissi, Arkoudi, Atokos …a real dream.
For early risers, the sunrise is absolutely marvelous, and later in the afternoon, when the sea breeze blows, it will nicely cool down the shady terraces.
If you are lucky enough to stay here at full moon, its silver reflections on the sea and the pool will fascinate you, during aperitif or grill time…
And when departure time has come, no doubt you will keep in mind these fantastic memories.

# Outside.

You’ll arrive at the villa from the first floor. Once the car is parked, you can walk on a lovely path (some meters) which brings you to the first room. Covered stairs lead to the ground floor where the first great enchantment awaits while opening the door, the wonderful sea view.
You join the terraces with their shady or sunny areas, as per your choice.
South, you find a dining place under a plant-covered pergola, then on the west side the infinity pool with an incredible sea view with boats sailing on the wind.
Around the pool, the sun chairs and the hammock under the pergola are waiting.
The 8 m x 4 swimming pool with its turquoise water is built in two parts: the first part for those who prefer to swim in low depth (1,10 meters), the second part with a slope deeper to 2 meters.
A shower in the middle of vegetation will delight you with this unending and wonderful view. On the side, a charcoal barbecue and 2 steps up the dining area overlooking the pool and the sea. The peace of a little Greek styled saloon will definitely seduce you.

# Ground floor.

The main room with a kitchen open to the living-room and the bright TV place, panoramic with big windows. An office just behind with a CD reader allows you to connect your favorite music.
A woody stair climbs to the mezzanine with 2 beds 90cm and climatisation.
Turning back to the entrance, there are independent toilets and the entrance hall entirely decorated with natural ochers.
Two steps up, the main sleeping room with 2 single beds 90cm, with possibility to join them together to have a 180cm bed with mattress pad. A seperate bathroom with Spa tub and toilets.
A tidying room with safe and washing machine.

# First floor.

Near the entrance, the second sleeping room with 160cm bed, its own climatisation, independent toilets, washbasin in the room and its shower on the south terrace ; you will love it… !

Kindly be advised that the owner of the villa has done all necessary proactive disinfestation, always in line to the environmental laws for the protection of the natural life. However the property is located within the beautiful natural surroundings and contact with insects or small animals (eg stray cats, mice, reptiles, flies, mosquitos, ants etc) cannot always be prevented.

# Access.

Villa Katsika is located on 2,5 km from the village of Sivota, Lefkada, with a beautiful view over the Ionian sea and its Islands.
Please note that the last kilometer to the villa is non-asphalted.
