A bit overpriced

It's an entirely okay place to stay as long as someone else is paying. The rooms are a bit old, the bathrooms are nice and the breakfast is pretty good. The biggest advantage is the walking distance to the messe area.

Good hotel in a good location for easy tram access to center. Close to airport and a great base for our visit to Colditz. Great staff, comfortable beds. Only minor down side is no fridge or drinks facility in rooms and all TV channels were in German. Nice and quiet.

Good value for money

Very good hotel for the money spent. It is very easy to get into the centre of Leipzig from the hotel and had all facilities necessary for a relaxing stay.

Ok in Leipzig.

Nothing much around, no pub or restaurant. Good connection with tram into city. Parking was a bit tight, be prepared for parallel parking.

Excellent value base for exploring Leipzig

Significantly cheaper than the city centre alternatives, and a peaceful retreat after busy days sight-seeing and enjoying everything the city has to offer, it is very easy to get to and from central Leipzig by a short tram journey from this hotel. The public transport (train to and from the airport, and the city's tram network) is easy to understand and use - and the hotel gives each guest a pass that allows unlimited use of the city's tram system free of charge. The breakfast is a very well-stocked cold buffet - sugar puffs were an unexpected treat! There are no nearby bars or restaurants, so evening meals have to be taken in town, before returning to the hotel. Our room was spotless, large, light and airy.

Nice hotel - North of Leipzig

the hotel is nice, but a bit away from the city center, in the north of Leipzig. access is very good almost direct from the motorway (north) very close to the BMW plant and the Messe. you have the tram in front of the hotel. the room are quite large and comfortable. The shower drain was blocked, which is why I don't rate the max, otherwise, it's a very good option for business or family stay.

OK, but be aware

This is part of a chain, so you’re going to get what goes with that - including unsolicited advertising in your room to buy a car! Two emails prior to the stay that asked for public transport advice were not answered; wifi operates by a voucher system that has annoying expiry and disconnect times. No advice offered for guests about where food purchases or eating places might be - rather necessary for foreigners, and especially for Sundays and public holidays. No fridge provided; rather subtle hints to eat at the hotel? It’s also 20 mins by tram (12 stops) from the Hauptbahnhof, plus a 5 min walk from the Haltestelle. The nearest supermarket is a tram stop away. There are no cafes or restaurants or fast-food places for several tram stops. Sure, the hotel will give you a voucher for free public transport when you get there, and that is rather necessary. And be careful to remove any power adaptor plugs - these are too easily hidden in the bedhead!

Booked this room for two with a queen-size bed tenatatively at first, as the website clearly displayed 'free' cancellation. After booking, an email informed me that there was no free cancellation and what's more, the booking was for a single room. After wasting my time with my bank - who refunded the money at first, but then caved in to the dubious characters who run the whole show - I decided to go ahead and stay anyway; and it was okay. I wouldn't stay again due to the unpleasantness which accompanied the booking in the first place though and it is a little far out of town too.

Great price, great for an overnight stay

Great room, clean, very comfortable - no complaints at all. Wireless Internet in our room was complimentary (a pleasant surprise, and contrary to what the hotel write-up says). We didn't opt for breakfast so cannot comment on the food. Hotel is close to the autobahn, and a tram line/station is directly in front of the hotel. Asked receptionist for a restaurant recommendation, and the place they recommended us (a 10-minute walk) was brilliant - really nice food. Two supermarkets also very close by (5-minute walk). Would highly recommend this hotel, and would stay again.
