We had a wonderful stay at Elk Ridge Cottages. The cottage was exceptionally clean and had all the comforts of home. What really stood out for us was walking in to find a beautifully lit Christmas tree and festive dĂ©cor throughout the cottage. It was such a warm, thoughtful touch that made our stay feel truly magical. Absolutely perfect. We can’t wait to return!

Our host Lisa could not have been more helpful, always responded immediately to any questions. The pictures of the cabin don't do it justice. The cabin was incredibly clean, spacious and well appointed. The view from the deck is amazing. Can't wait to return next year.

Tranquil, Comfy Retreat

Friend and I with pups came to the blowing rock area for a long weekend getaway. This cabin is absolutely wonderful. Beds are super comfy. The place is super clean. The views and the decks are wonderful. We ate dinner on the deck every evening. The kitchen has everything you would need. Great location to hop on the highway to get to anywhere. Sun rises out the front of the cabin or phenomenal every morning!! We actually drove to Grayson Highlands and hiked for a day and it was a very easy drive. Also the Blue Ridge Parkway has so many trails off of it. I would definitely stay here again without any hesitation.

Beautiful home with beautiful views

The views are breathtaking and pictures do not do them Justice. The house is beautiful. But if you're not from the mountains and used to driving up really windy roads it can be scary. But overall definitely worth it.

Wonderful Get-Away Week

This property is absolutely as advertised. Very clean and stocked with all we needed. Great town and great hikes in Moses Cone Memorial Park. We will definitely return to Blowing Rock and, when we do, we will stay at the Elkridge Cottages again.

A Bit of Heaven

The views in every direction are pure heaven—across valleys and mountains. You can work at the kitchen island lost in distant vistas. The porches have gorgeous views and plenty of room for multiple activities from napping to dining to simply watching the light change across the mountains.

Hidden Gem

The Elkhorn cabin is a cozy and very comfortable place to stay for a getaway. We enjoyed the Mountain View’s on the spacious decks and the firepit at night was an added bonus. We brought our own camp chairs which I recommend. Located a few minutes outside of Blowing Rock, it was so convenient to visit all the popular places. Lisa is very responsive with any questions you may have.

Lisa has gorgeous properties and is a class host. We have stayed in three of her homes and they are ALWAYS impeccably clean, WELL-stocked and comfortable. The view was breathtaking and the porch seating is spot on. DON'T pass on any of her properties, you won't every be disappointed!
