When we arrived, the lobby smells like cigg. Not sure if so happened someone smoked but that was how we were greeted. Though we asked for non smoking room, it still smell like cigg smoke. Big turn off since im an asthmatic patient. The breakfast spread was not too bad. Simple and decent. The family room in the other hand was good. no complains.

Nice new hotel, just a minute walk from the main entrance of the park, but out of the traffic. Many restaurants nearby (all Chinese foods). Very friendly staff, but only a few speak English. The breakfast buffet was small, but offered enough choices of foods to become happy with it.
Our rental car broke down in front of the hotel lobby, and the rental company claimed that they did not have road assistance in the area. We were extremely worried that our travel plans might be disrupted. Hotel manager Mr. Tang came to the rescue by calling a local repair shop. We left the car key to Mr. Tang and continued our trip on a bus. Mr. Tang later called that the repair person fixed the vehicle (dead battery). He parked the car for us, ran it on 20 minutes to charge the car battery, and even paid the repair person on our behalf. When we came back after the day trip to the mountain, Mr. Tang gave us the key back and led us to the repaired vehicle.
The hotel itself is also very nice with the latest equipment including a smart TV. Hot water came on very fast. There is also a free breakfast. I definitely recommend this hotel.
A relatively new hotel in a newly developed area. One of the very few international hotel names in Emei.
There is a huge Zen-themed mixed development next to the hotel. It's still very new at the time of my stay, and the tenancy around 20% filled. It should be a very interesting place for dining and shopping in 2-3 years' time.
A special thank to front desk staff Mr. Shui. We realized a jacket was left in the room only in the evening after checkout. Mr. Shui was very helpful and efficiently identified the cloth even though the lost&found storage room has been locked at the time of my call. He also found a way to courier the jacket to us early next morning, and that saved us a lot of worry and trouble.
LOCATION NOTE: The hotel on Expedia shows that it's on Emei Mountain by ZhangLaoPing, but it is actually at the foot of the mountain, near BaoGuo temple, about a 5 minute walk to the entrance at the foot of the mountain where you can buy tickets and pay for the 2 hour bus ride up the mountain. Google maps does not work and is not accurate for mainland China, I strongly recommend using Apple maps (which is powered by the Chinese company GaoDe maps once you're in China).
The hotel and room was very clean and comfortable. There was a washer and dryer on site that cost 15yuan per run. The breakfast food is also really nice and filling and was perfect for our day adventure into the Emei mountain.
location quite far from city, but can take bus number 7 till last stop. walking distance to Emei mountain ticket counter. room is perfect, great accommodation.
