Lake front summer home- beautiful lake with shallow entry that’s great for kids!


The Lake House is a beautiful, clean, 2100 square foot home on the North Shore of West Twin Lake, an all-sports lake with clear water, sandy bottom, and a gradual entry from the shoreline that is not deeper than 3-4 feet for a significant distance. This is a lake perfect for younger swimmers and advanced tubers or water skiers, as well as a great spot to fish. Fish in the lake include walleye, pike, perch, bass, and sunfish. A private dock with tie-off anchors is provided for your jet skis or boat. A paddle boat, kayaks, and paddle boards are provided for all guests. Pontoon rentals are available from a nearby marina.
The North Shore provides the best views of every sunrise and sunset! West Twin Lake, at over 1300 acres, is the largest-and the best!-of the Twin Lakes in Lewiston.
Whether you enjoy your morning coffee on the lakefront deck and listen to the loons call, or make s’mores in the fire pit while stargazing, this is the perfect spot to enjoy a peaceful family vacation. This home boasts 100 feet of lakefront on a private 1.35 acre lot. The original cottage was built in 1945 with knotty pine ceilings and log walls, with a 1991 update and lakefront addition that includes a great room with cathedral ceilings, fireplace, and expansive floor to ceiling windows. The master bedroom suite also provides a gorgeous lakefront view, and has a private master bathroom with Jacuzzi tub. New furniture this year includes the great room sectional sleeper, a full sized sleeper sofa in the reading nook, king bed, dining table with bench, and a game table.
This home is equipped with everything a family will need to make memories on the lake! The spacious lawn is open for kids to play, or just to run right into the water!
Lewiston is minutes away with shopping and restaurants, and it is only a short drive to golf in nearby Gaylord or Garland Resort,
This home can be booked for weekends May-Father's Day and after Labor Day, with a week's stay required from mid-June until Labor Day. Please inquire if interested in booking just a long weekend starting with Labor Day through the winter and spring season.

Great house with great hosts

Fabulous experience — Lovely house. Great bed and view in primary bedroom. Wonderful yard and lake access. Clean. Comfy living room. Wonderful engagement from hosts. Only challenge was walking our dogs in the morning. We hope to return in the future.

Summer Vacation

We had a great time at this lake house and reserved it for next summer before we checked out! We had 11 people and there was plenty of space for all of us. The house is equipped with everything you could possibly need and was very clean. The owners were great to communicate with on any questions we had. We are looking forward to coming back next summer!

great option for Lewiston lake house

The house and property were great. What we liked the most: House was spacious, clean, and well stocked. We appreciated all of the extra beach towels. The lot was very deep and wide so plenty of room outside. Nice fire pit. Owner was easy to communicate with and helpful with the one issue we had. Nice beachfront and boat parking options. Nice to be able to borrow the kayaks and extra chairs. Well water tasted great. The only thing we didn't love was the pull out sofa as a sleeping space. It might be okay for kids though. Overall it was a great lake house.

Summer Cousin Time

Beautiful property for a family get together our grandchildren 18-5 years old. The kids enjoyed having a yard to play games in and not just sand. The shallowness of the lake was great for the young as well as teens. The house was exceptionally clean and supplied with all you need.

Beautiful, relaxing lake house

Enjoyed our week at the lake house with all the comforts of home. The owners are wonderful hosts, the lake is perfect for swimming and water sports, and the house is well-stocked with everything you might need. This is our second stay and we will definitely be back!

Home Away From Home!!

I’m embarrassed of my handwriting after reading all of those nice messages in the guest book so I’ll type mine lol
 we were so impressed w the accommodations and how comfy and clean this home is. Definitely agree w everyone that this feels like a home away from home. We just bought property in Lewiston and wanted to stay for a long weekend and check out the area more, and very happy with our new “neighbors” Would love to experience this lake house in the summer! Wonderful Fall location

Very nice place with everything you need for a nice stay on the lake. Firewood and some water toys included. The master bedroom is a wonderful location to wake up and enjoy the beautify view of the lake. Great beach for little ones because it is very shallow for a long distance out from shoreline (like a splash pool). Great communication from the owner.

A lakeside Treasure

We enjoyed the perfect up north getaway. The lake house was everything we'd hoped for and more. It was just as described had everything we would need from towels, linens, and space - the kitchen was stocked with all the essentials and everything was clean and organized. The location is near a local grocery store(less than 10minutes) so very easy to make a run if you need anything at all. We had a bonfire every night, admired the stars, the songs from the loons,made smores, and used the grill. My husband played a round of golf at garland and we took a day trip to ocquenoc falls the rest of the time we just relaxed at our perfect lake house and enjoyed the views. It was our first time in Lewiston and it is just what up north is all about WE LOVED IT.

Water toys galore!

The house offer the perfect lake experience. We have a 9 and 11 year old. They loved using the two paddle boards, lily pad and paddle boat. The adults did too! Very shallow lake. Great for kids and beginner water-skiers. Thank you for an enjoyable week away.

WEST LAKE SUMMER FUN 2023

This VRBO was perfect for our family vacation. We had 6 children between the ages of 7 to 14 and they all had a blast. Lots of water toys for all of them. The Lake is very clean and does not get deep for a long way out. There is a sandy beach area where the kids can play. The cottage is set with a large front yard for outdoor games. The cottage has ample space so that 11 of us did not feel like we were running into each other. We used all of the beds including the couch pull outs. The kitchen is amply supplied with dishes, pots and pans, crock pot, silverware and a microwave. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend it. The owners are right next door should you need anything and very nice.
