Rick, in the main office, was nice. My room was not. There were stains on the couches and chairs. The floor was sticky and dirty throughout. There were a dozen+ stink bugs on walls and furniture. There was an empty can of odor control fogger on the floor beside the bed. The bed was broken and shifted off its base. There wasn't a light bulb in the lamp by the bed. The towel rack was broken off. Floor board in the kitchen was peeling back. I found a different hotel for the second night of my stay. I stayed here several years ago and thought it was a decent place to stay for the price. I do not recommend it now.

Bed was broken off the base and pushed over. Stains and dirty carpet.

I was contacted by telephone from Rick at the location on the day of check in at 9:30 am as I was on my way to the airport in Indiana that he didn’t have a room for me! I was furious! I had made the booking well in advance and he failed to notify me sooner leaving me with no where to stay other than a place he recommended that was going to charge me $800. I had to stay with a friend from high school since it was my 40th reunion but I had not seen her in 40 years so I felt out of place! I think this was poor business like on their part.

When I first pulled up to property smell like marijuana, the whole place was filthy. There was trash back, sitting all outside with junk in it. Our room had food and c*** all over the walls. That's furniture was torn and had dirt and stains all over them.There was rust in the tub.The shelving was painted and peeling The lamps were rusty.The fence were rusting .the floors were so dirty.I could not take my shoes off. I have ton of pictures? I took up the the cushion from the couch and it literally had , toilet paper will poop on it under the cushion.

Friend visit from outta state.

I love staying here. It's peaceful and the people who work there are amazing!! My friend came from Tennessee to visit and we spent the weekend and we will be staying again!!

I can’t provide anything but an overall rating because the hotel called me the day before my reservation (for a holiday weekend) to let me know that they were cancelling my reservation because some guests were extending their stays. No matter that I had already paid for my stay. I was told the manager “could comp me a couple nights” for a future visit but have no verification of this. The sister hotel he called to see if they had vacancies was double the price, which I had no choice but to pay due it being last minute on a holiday weekend. I also was told I had to contact Expedia myself for a refund, and when I did, they had not been informed of this development. I was then expected to be grateful that the hotel was refunding my money on a non refundable stay, despite the fact that the hotel is the one that cancelled my reservation. I would say the very least I was owed was a refund. I have submitted a complaint to the Affordable Suites corporate office, but they have yet to respond almost a week later. There is no phone number to call either. Stay far, far away from this hotel!!!

Not worth it!

Very run down. Needs updating and deep cleaning. Long term "clients" have children running around!

The motel was very nice and clean. The room was clean and everything was well kept. I loved the towels, they were big and soft. It is a little out in the country, about 2 or 3 miles from the village of Lexington. The kitchen was handy but I never really cooked in it. On my next trip to NC I will be happy to stay there again.

Too much went wrong. Had to be relocated to a smaller unit due to other guest with barking dogs...not sure why the offending guests weren't moved instead. Came back to room the next night, key no longer worked, couldn't get anyone on the phone at managers office, had to leave message Expedia no help, no answer when I called. Bed mattress not comfortable. Toiletries were not available in first assigned unit. All in all, disappointed.
