The space
OUTRIGGER Kauaʻi Beach Resort & Spa is a beautiful Hawaiian style resort situated oceanfront on 25 lush acres of Kauai's longest exploring and strolling beach. The Resort's four stunning pools, including three lagoon pools with waterfalls, a child-friendly sandy-bottom pool with a 75-foot water slide, two hot tubs, and poolside lounges, offer endless relaxation and enjoyment.

The 25 acres of beautifully landscaped grounds include a state-of-the-art fitness center, Starbucks coffee, retail shops, a hair salon, a business center, meeting and banquet facilities, a European spa offering massages and facials, art exhibits, live music, and more.

Dining options at the Resort include the Naupaka Terrace, Shutters Lounge, Driftwood Bar & Grille (poolside), and in-room dining. The expansive white sand beach lies just beyond, offering breathtaking views of the Pacific.

If you’re an early riser or if you’re on jet lag, make sure to take a 3-minute walk to catch the incredible sunrise at Nukolii Beach. With its prime location on the east side of the island, Kauai Beach Resort offers easy access to all of Kauai's top attractions. Note: We are the Outrigger Kauai Beach Resort, which is separate from the Kauai Beach Villas. The Kauai Beach Villas by Wyndham, located in the condominium complex next door, are facing structural issues with the building and are scheduled to cease operations in 2026. It has a similar name, but we are separate entities.

Guest access
We cater to travelers who prefer to skip cooking and cleaning, allowing them to spend more time vacationing and taking advantage of resort amenities. Guests can use all the self-service amenities, such as the gym or the pool. Additionally, you have the option to use the surcharge activities, including the spa, restaurants, and bars, or book a tour (such as a helicopter tour) through the concierge desk. However, we are not part of the hosted classes like the koi feeding class or yoga classes. In addition, there is no daily turn-down service.

Fees explained :

* The total cost you see includes both the checkout cleaning fee and the resort fee. For stays over 12 nights , we provide a complimentary mid stay refresher cleaning service.
* Hotel parking is available for $40 USD per night, and payment can be made directly at the front desk.
* For your convenience, the resort is easily accessible from the airport via a short Uber ride.
* If you are looking for 2 rooms combined that sleep up to 7, 3 rooms combined that sleep up to 9, or 4 rooms combined that sleep up to 11, we have two Pool Ocean View rooms, a Premier Garden View room, and a Mountain View room. Please message us for details.

Resort renovations:

The resort periodically undertakes renovation projects (currently upgrading the lobby, one of the restaurants, followed by the cultural center, fitness center, and meeting spaces later in spring 2026) aimed at significantly enhancing our guest experience. The resort is diligently working to minimize any disruption to our valued guests while these important upgrades are in progress.
