Our classique room faced the staircases so it was dark but it was spacious and quiet. Bathroom was clean and decent sized. Excellent location, close to all the attractions and public transport. Aircon in the room wasn't effective and it was more like a fan so the room was warm and stuffy. The room would be unpleasant during summer. All staff we came across were friendly and helpful. Rooftop bar was excellent with the best view in Lille. Other than the aircon issue, this is a great hotel.

Weekend Concert Break

Excellent location in the city centre and also close to the Metro. Rooms were spacious and well appointed. All the staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was varied and of good quality.

Great location, old building

This hotel was cute, with a nice mix of traditional and modern touches. The location is unbeatable and we had a great view of the square. I will say though that being an older hotel, our room had a bit of a smell. The breakfast was also a bit disappointing. Otherwise everything was great.

Large, pleasant room with coffee maker and electric kettle. Very nice and very clean bathroom. Room was quiet and bed was comfortable. We really enjoyed the rooftop bar and went there almost every night. The view was fantastic and the staff was very nice.

This hotel was perfect for our family. The rooms were beautiful and comfortable, and clean. Plus, the location is fantastic and there’s some convenient parking garages close by, if you’re driving. Staff was very friendly, too.

Excellent location, and service, standard breakfast. I gave 4 stars because the air conditioner i n "warmer" mode is weak and does not warm the big room. Hot water is also not very hot. Except from these details, very recommended

Hotel very nicely decorated and rooms very clean. Comfy bed and bedding. large shower in modern bathroom. Quick check in and out. Buffet breakfast limited but cereals & toast suffused. It was a struggle for everyone to prise bread out of the toaster as slices were so small!! No English speaking TV channels at all, not even news. Overall a pleasant hotel with couple of negatives.

The rooftop patio is excellent, all of the servers were wonderful. The night time Manager was also very kind and helpful. One thing to mention - it took 3 people to check me in and not one person mentioned that they have a bug zapping plug in. I was attacked by mosquitos at night that is the only reason I am rating this property good and not excellent. If you know that mosquitos get into the room through the vents - have the bug zapper plugged in! or make sure that the check in process mentions it. Both nights I couldn't sleep because mosquitos were after me!

I booked a room specifically for its “bathtub and shower combination” but the room didn’t have a bathtub. The staff were incompetent and rather slow in addressing the issue and at the end of the evening suggested a room in another hotel, which was impossible at that point with an elderly who was physically limited (hence the need for bathtub to do physio). They said they’d contact the manager but never did or at least no manager got back to us as one would expect.

Very well situated and a lovely hotel. The roof terrace was really good and the staff were excellent. All of the staff in the hotel were very friendly and we were particularly helped with advice on parking and restaurants by the lovely Margot in reception. Highly recommended and well placed in the centre of the city: we will stay here again!
