Ground Floor Beachfront Studio - Sleeps 3! Pool and Sauna!

Summary:

'Prawn Solo' is what we call this cozy oceanfront studio. It can sleep up to three people by way of a queen size bed and a pull-out, has a full bathroom and a full kitchen. This isn't a hotel room, this is a home! If the weather is stormy, stay inside and watch the waves from the amazing view of the oceanside suite. Don't forget about our indoor heated saltwater pool and dry sauna!



The Space:

Need a private oceanside suite for you and a special someone? Unit 112 is perfect for you. This unit, which we call “Prawn Solo,” is perfect for a couple, or someone running solo.



This suite can sleeps three with a queen bed and a love seat that can converts into a twin bed. It has a full kitchen with range oven, a flatscreen TV, plus a DVD player and dedicated Wi-fi. Your wireless Internet is password-protected for your exclusive use.



Guest Access:

The condo comes with a unique code which will get you entry into your unit. There you will find a key that will grant you access to our indoor, heated salt water pool and dry sauna.

Other Things to Note:

This is a condo in a shared complex, and it's worth noting that from time to time, you might hear everyday sounds coming from neighboring units and common areas within the facility.



There are three gas grills on site available for guest use. They are located next to our sparkling pool.



The condo comes with a limited supply of complimentary coffee, sugar, and creamer.

Sea Gypsy Rentals manages more than 59 privately owned beachfront condos. We have a rental office on the property that is open no less than 8 hours a day. We give you your space, but we’re available on-site if you need anything.

Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed with our stay. The main pro is the beach access. With the fires at night on the beach the wind would blow the smoke up to the room. So, with the door closed we relied on the fans provided. 4 fans in the room. One missing buttons and didnt work, other fan worked but knob missing so couldn’t adjust, third fan an obviously very old fan ended up dusting a mouse nest throughout the room when I turned it on. I reached out through VRBO and via text with no acknowledgement of this pretty nasty experience. Overall just didn’t feel clean probably because it is pretty old and will not be going back.

Not worth your money

We were happy to find a rental with a kitchen on short notice and though it was pricey, we chose to go. The rental had a beautiful view but it was dingy. The curtains and curtain rod were rusty and the curtains were stained all over. The couch was stained and the cushions were shot so there was no comfortable ace to sit. Also, the bed was really uncomfortable for us (management stated many others thought it was comfortable so that just may be our opinion). The pots and pans were in dire need of being replaced too. In our 30 years of marriage we have never left a place early and we have stayed at quite a few rough places, but for the price we paid, we chose to go home.

Everything went fine. We did enjoy the space. Great kitchen equipment, comfortable bed, and small apartment. Would be nice for two but crowded with three.

Nice location

The location to the beach is great. The condo itself was pretty dingy. Could barely close the bathroom door because floor/door was uneven. It is on the ground floor so there was no privacy. Everyone who walked by had to look in.

Great for price

Great location with a beautiful view. The walls were a little thin as expected, and at times it was difficult to find parking in the lot. Other than that it was a good place for a decent price.

4th of July

Great experience! The studio was right at the stairs to the beach. Very clean residence. Easy to hear through the walls but expected especially with it being The 4th of July week. Only issue noted was the concrete stairs to the beach, they were large and split. I had to help a father lift his son via wheelchair to get him to the beach. Not the Prawn Solos fault! My wife, daughter, and I would definitely stay here again!

Awesome!

We've had the best time ever at Prawn Solo. It's a stones throw from the beach. You can hear the ocean constantly. The place is comfy, cozy and on the ground floor with sliding glass door right near stairs to the beach. We went for a swim last night in the pool. It was very fun. Water was warm...Prawn Solo at the Sea Gypsy is our number one go to. Thanks. Dave & Kathy.

Cute place but no Netflix

It's cool to be able to check self in and out. The decor was appealing, and the beach right outside the door was awesome. But the description says there is Netflix. I contacted the host by text message. They replied quickly, also good. But they said there is no Netflix, regardless of what the VRBO and seagypsyrentals.com sites and the documentation in the room say. Not really a problem if they didn't advertise Netflix in the first place.
