With good walks and cycle routes through the countryside straight from the door, this is the ideal location to explore this beautiful landscape. It is a 2-mile stroll to the local pub or instead drive into Boston, 8 miles, and see the famous Boston Stump, as well as the busy market once a week in the town centre. Head up the coast towards Skegness about 20 miles away, to find sandy beaches and the Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve. Visit The Battle of Britain memorial flight at Coningsby, 2 miles away, or the city of Lincoln, famous for its cathedral and castle as well as The Bailgate area with its many cafés and boutique shops. A comfortable well-appointed and thoughtfully decorated little cottage in lovely surroundings. Our hosts were very helpful and interesting to talk to, as were the myriad hens and mini flock of sheep. Lots of interesting places to see locally. Well worth returning to.

Accommodation good and comfortable but description of fishing nearby not accurate since nearest waterway was so weeded up that fishing was impossible. Owner was welcoming and there were helpful information leaflets. Plum bread delicious! Setting peaceful and sights to see.
