We normally wouldn’t stay in a motel, but the reviews seemed so great and so was the price, so we went out on the limb to try it. Unfortunately, it wasn’t good. You could tell the rooms had been renovated semi recently. However, the bathroom was gross and had mold and pink mildew all over the place. The vent for the bathroom fan was CAKED with dust. The shower head base was hanging off the shower head not even on the wall. Although I love that the floors in the room weren’t carpet, you could tell they hadn’t been vacuumed and were dirty. The shampoo dispenser in the shower was empty. You could smell cigarette smoke sometimes coming through the bathroom fan vent, I assume from other rooms. The beds were hard and noisy. The mini fridge froze all of our food in it. The food for the free breakfast was prepackaged and poor quality. The only “fresh” food was waffles you make yourself and a bowl of oranges. Had an orange and it was flavorless. The area immediately surrounding it is all dumpy motels and rundown or closed buildings, but there are restaurants a short 5 min hop on the highway. We were hoping for the best, but it was not good and we wouldn’t recommend.
