Log Home Clarks Hill Lake - Great for family vacations

The Lakeside Lodge is a 3700 square foot lakefront Tennessee log home tucked away among tall pine trees on 1 acre of land. This luxurious lake front home offers seclusion and privacy. Staying at the Lakeside Lodge is a unique vacation experience. A private dock and a lake life experience that can be enjoyed all year round. Daytime fun can include boating, fishing, swimming and kayaking right off the private dock located in the backyard. In the evening enjoy a fun game of corn hole or badminton in the yard, pool or ping pong in the den, capped off with roasting marsh mellows at night over the fire pit.

The home is spacious. The open living room is flanked by premium windows and French doors, has wide board heart pine floors and is topped off with a grand cathedral ceiling. Fall and winter guests can warm up to a cozy fire by either of the 2 wood burning stone fireplaces. You can enjoy your morning coffee by stepping out onto one of 2 decks looking over the lake. The dining area includes seating for 9 inside plus a picnic style table on the screened porch with seating for 10.

The primary bedroom is located on the main level and features a king size bed and a large bath with jetted tub, walk in shower, dual vanities and separate water closet. The upstairs loft overlooks the living area and includes two queen sized beds. There are two additional bedrooms upstairs, each with a private half bath and a shared jack & jill shower room. The basement includes a bunk style bedroom with three bunk beds.

Walk out the basement doors to a grassy backyard with a gradual slope to the water and deck. Inside there are 3 pub style high tables for puzzles, games or hanging out and a pool/ping pong table. There is also a sectional sofa, large TV, wet bar and additional refrigerator.

The covered private dock can accommodate a pontoon style boat. A boat is NOT included in your stay, but guests can bring their own boat or rent one from any of the nearby marinas There are 4 kayaks (2 double, 2 single), life jackets and tubes for guests to use during their stay. You may bring your own permitted lake toys too! The Lakeside Lodge is located on the Georgia side of Clarks Hill/J. Strom Thurmond Lake. If you choose to book with us, we can email you a pdf packet on the local golf courses, restaurants as well as the needed info on renting a boat and the other amenities on Clarks Hill Lake.

We stayed in this house for a bass fishing tournament. There was a boat ramp very close by and the dock is great to sunbathe and swim (there is no electric, so we did not utilize it for the boat since we had to charge every night). We had room for 3 vehicles and a boat in the driveway/garage, but I'm not sure you'd want more than that.The kids (ages 10, 13, and 13) had a ball playing pool, ping pong, and cornhole. The views are great and it is a quiet neighborhood. I filled the bird feeders up and by the end of the week, we had several visitors! We felt very secure here.The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you could want to prepare large family meals. We had plenty of space throughout the house (we had a total of 9 people). We were appreciative of the fast WiFi as there is NO SERVICE in this area. We recommend Papa's To-Go Pizza for a quick meal that's not too far away (in Lincolnton). It was fantastic!The check-in and check-out was seamless. Ann was so responsive and even sent an appliance repair specialist the same day when we *thought* the washing machine was broken. We would certainly stay here again and recommend it to anyone coming to this area! THANK YOU!

Gem on the Savannah River

Absolutely lovely property with super amenities. The boat ramp at Fishing Creek was very close and the boat dock at the property provided a great place for swimming, kayaking and boating. For my wife, the test of a good rental is the cleanliness of the refrigerator and this one was spotless. This place is a real gem and our thanks go out to the owners for making this one of our best family gatherings.

Beautiful lake home

Home and lake (dock) is beautiful, home is very spacious and accommodating. Lake access was awesome and boat ramp isn’t far away just about. 5-10 min boat ride around to the other cove. Will definitely be staying in the future.

We had a great stay at Lakeside Lodge! The lodge was beautiful, spacious and very well stocked! The lake was gorgeous and not crowded! The dock was perfect for our large group and two boats. Ann was so quick to respond to any questions asked. I highly recommend this lovely place!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed staying in this beautiful log cabin home. There were so many games to do at the house and the dock was very handy too. The walk to the dock was nice and easy to get to. Fishing from the dock and paddle boarding/kayaking in the cove were perfect as well

Perfect in every way!

I took 6 teenage boys and 4 adults to this property to stay for our fishing tournament. The boys didn’t want to leave the home, to go fish. This home was perfect in every way. Plenty to do, and very well appointed. You can’t go wrong with this one!
