At the foot of the Falkenstein lies the picturesque village Zwieselerwaldhaus. One of the most beautiful houses here is the old customs house built in 1926 from natural stone, brick and wood. It is located at the end of the tranquil village in absolute seclusion, directly on the Hochwald, in the middle of the Bavarian Forest National Park.
A total of 4 very cozy apartments are available to our guests, which are managed by us, the family Bickel, consciously family friendly (apartments Arber and Pepe with **** category of the German Tourism Association). Since 2019 we are National Park Partner and member of the Environmental Pact Bavaria. Our responsibility towards our unique nature and the following generations, we manage the house sustainable and climate neutral. Since we in Zwieslerwaldhaus our drinking water from its own source (500m airline from the house), the mineral water quality, we now offer our guests the convenience of a water jug in the apartment (Sodastream). Not only do we want to give you our living water, but we also want to make a contribution to plastic avoidance

By the way: The whole house can also be rented by groups (prices on request) and can accommodate up to 18 guests.
Equipped with all comforts our apartments Arber, Pepe, Falkenstein and Silberberg have an upscale equipment and above all a lot of space to relax and unwind. The in-house sauna invites after skiing (trail entrance on the doorstep, Alpin am Grossen Arber 10km away) or after hiking to relax. For bikers are sufficiently covered and secured parking spaces for the mountain bikes available. Pets are welcome by appointment. A large garden with opportunities for playing and barbecuing is of course available to our guests. For all apartments are tw. covered outdoor seating available. Sun loungers with cushions are of course also available Our small fragrance garden with local herbs and magnificent roses invites you to dream and stay a while. Distributed over the garden are fruit trees and berry bushes whose fruit our guests may of course nibble.
And to stay connected to the world, there is a free wireless internet connection. Modern flat TV with satellite reception, radio and DVD player complete the equipment of the spacious apartments. Accessible to all, we have put together a small library and an extensive collection of games. Since December, our house has been supplied with climate-neutral energy.
