As well as being well known for its wildlife and nature reserve, Formby is also a great spot for shopping and eating out. Formby town centre is home to a variety of bars and restaurants, together with both high street names and independently run shops. For any golfers, Formby Golf Club is one of the world’s finest Championship links golf courses, and for those organising a golfing trip, there are three more Open Championship venues in close proximity, Royal Birkdale, Royal Liverpool, and Royal Lytham.
