The Old Mill Cottage will be your pick of the three Barnacre cottages, if a high-end finish and luxurious furnishings are what you want from your stay. The Old Mill has two double ensuite bedrooms with additional sleeping space for up to two more people in the lounge, which is furnished with a beautiful buttoned leather Chesterfield suite.
Set on a charming small courtyard and with its own private garden, the Old Mill’s oak and granite kitchen/dining room is awash with blue-and-white china and high quality equipment, fittings and furnishings. It exudes a comforting sense of peace which springs from the barn’s long history and sensitive conversion. The exposed beams, original brickwork and sandstone floors of the old mill are made snug with underfloor heating.

The Swimming Pool
The Barnacre Private pool is shared between the three cottages onsite. It is fully heated, and guests are allowed to book at least two hours in the daytime slots between 9am and 5pm. A simple online booking app is used to ensure that you have privacy in your booked swim time away from other guests.
