This is also a prime position for access to the Royal Welsh Showground with its many events hosted throughout the year. The historic spa town of Llandrindod Wells is 7 miles away and Rhayader and the Elan Valley are 16 miles, well worth a visit to see the dams and to enjoy a spot of bird watching.
