Excellent room - clean & with a superb shower! Proximity to Trostre Park & the beach also a real bonus . The evening meal was also excellent - as were the attentive & very knowledgeable staff on duty!

Drawers in the bedroom dressing table to store some clothes plus proper bedside tables with a drawer would be good. A handle to help getting in and out of the bath would also be good.

I arrived mid-afternoon and didn’t have to wait long to be directed to check in. The room was clean and comfortable on arrival. I returned in the evening to a cozy bed, after enjoying a couple of beers in the pub next door. I didn’t eat in the hotel but it looked a good carvery style pub. The bed a was warm and comfortable and the room spacious. Breakfast the next morning was freshly cooked and delicious. £8.75 too was cheaper than average. I’d definitely visit again.

Friendly & welcoming

The staff here are always friendly, helpful and welcoming. Personally, I find the bed a little hard, but it's perfect for my husband - everyone's different! Having free on-site parking and good food available is great. Having fuel stations and a range of other shops nearby is a boon.

Great value for money. We had a great stay and would return. The property outside needs a little attention and our bathroom floor was very “spongy” and needs someone to look at it. We forgot to tell them on leaving. The food was brilliant, breakfast was excellent.

For this hotel you really need a car as there is no pedestrian access to the shops. The cooks were lovely and very accommodating as was a lady called Emily who seemed to do most things. Unfortunately you can hear everything in the rooms above. This is a convenient stay if you are working in the area but not suitable for a mini break!
