Ideal place to use as a base for house hunting. The staff are always friendly and pleasant. Our second stay and will use again if needed.

Sessile Oak sleep over.

Room was ready, clean and tidy. The staff including housekeeping very friendly. Bed was comfortable and is away from road so is nice and quiet.

Great location and friendly staff. I was disappointed with the push to order on line for a discount. As an International traveller I could NOT complete the order form due to the ‘verification code’ going back to my home country :(. Thus I was penalized from getting the discount. Not so traveller friendly!

Over time detariation. Sessile lost its spark.

Unfortunately since I last came here it well maintained, professionally run. Clean updated. Now needs a total pain throughout, more happy 😊 staff. Second Night Ruined by Alarm constantly going on this was a disabled ♿ person alarm went on from 2am onwards . Also breakfast add on are not good extra peace of bacon on smashed advicado was not great. Not impressed. Price on breakfast are expensive, variety OK, staff hit and miss. The decor was grubby, tired Accommodation was clean Hot water for room was spot on , plus side tidy and clean rooms, let's get this Hotel back were it was and definitely the tired look needs a repaint both buildings. Issues with maintenance ⛑️ were was the night porter. Prices of breakfast are getting redicolous if you want repeat customers, a loyalty sceam kids free. Look

The staff seemed uninterested in there roll, the room was basic, the restaurant was messy with noisy drinkers in the bar area, there was a screaming, swearing child who seemed to belong to one of the staff. The tables were not cleared, very slow service with food left all over the floor. The tables were sticky, overall a very poor show. We will not be returning.
