The Hocking Cottage: Hot tub + arcade games

Completely renovated and newly remodeled, The Hocking Cottage features 10 acres of freedom on your way into the Hills. Situated just 3 miles from town, the cottage is perfectly placed for day trips out to the caves (7 miles), and other trips into the city center of Logan.

With 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, this navy abode boasts high speed Spectrum internet, 70" smart tv, a 4-person hot tub, good cell coverage, gas log and electric fireplaces, washer/dryer, and a video game/arcade room. You'll also have access to foosball, an assortment of board games, fire pit and gas grill.

On the main level you'll find 2 queen bedrooms and 1 full bathroom with tub/shower combo. The fully stocked kitchen, main living area with 70" smart-tv, and the electric fireplace are all on this level. 

In the basement you'll find a lower level seating and entertainment area with gas log fireplace and a separate bedroom with 2 twin beds. A toilet and sink are next to the bedroom and a separate shower can be found through the arcade area. Access to washer/dryer is on the lower level.

Rounding out the backyard and right off the back steps (perfect for playtime with families) you'll locate the outdoor propane grill, hot tub, and dining for the entire group. The fire pit under the stars is just beyond that.

The Hocking Cottage is set up for a maximum of 6 adults/children for your family's perfect escape.

For adult-only stays: all guests must be over age 25.

Parking area can sustain 4 vehicles.

The property was clean, well stocked and very welcoming. We were able to walk the property and use the hot tub. It was very peaceful outside. We had one rain day that kept us inside, but we enjoyed games and conversation in the living area.

Close to enough to the state park and supplies stores but also far enough away from life that we were able to get away from stresses. My kids loved the hot tub and the game room downstairs. Very enjoyable.

Very, very clean home. The arcade games were great for the kids in between hikes and adventures outside. There were black out curtains in all rooms—a small detail that makes sleeping away from home that much easier. The process for getting in/checking out was smooth. It was the perfect distance to a variety of Hocking Hills destinations—and it was just down the street from the petting zoo. A great home if you’re looking for an easy, clean spot to bring a family for a few days in a beautiful part of Ohio.
