Beach Escape – Silver Sands Resort #246 by RVA

RVA offers Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort. Located beach front on beautiful Longboat Key, this resort offers all the amenities of a large hotel with the privacy and seclusion that has Silver Sands guests returning each year. Relax on our private beach, walk on our soft white sand, take a dip in our heated beachside pool, or enjoy a complimentary chaise lounge and beach umbrella while breathing in the fresh salt-water air. Practice your golf game on our putting green or relax on our beautiful beach with your favorite novel. Wireless Internet access is available in the privacy of your individual unit, at the garden area or on the pool deck.



Guests staying in Unit 246 at Silver Sands will enjoy complimentary guest membership privileges at Cedars Tennis Resort, 645 Cedars Court, located just 1/2 mile south of the Silver Sands property. Cedars amenities include a Jr. Olympic heated swimming pool with lap lanes, fitness center, lockers, clubhouse with pro shop, and parking. Also available onsite are bicycle rentals, fully-lit Har-Tru tennis and pickleball courts (after 1 PM; subject to availability).



Accommodations: Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort is a relaxing retreat located directly on the Gulf of Mexico on the northern-end of Longboat Key. Choose from our various unit styles including hotel rooms, one- and two-bedroom garden view units, and one- and two-bedroom beach front units.

Good, but could be better.

Sand on the floor when we arrived. A few things could've been fixed. The sheets felt cheap and scratchy. Bed too hard. It was our 3rd time there and overall, we like it, but next time we'll probably look for someplace better even though it will cost more.

Great getaway

Staff was very nice. It was wonderful that our apartment was so close to the beach the only downfall would be that there were limited restaurants/shopping within walking distance from the resort- we chose not to rent a car and just get some R&R. We were able to walk to a couple restaurants. Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves, and would come back!

Bathtub bad shape

The beach was great and made it all worthwhile. The pool was nice but we did not use it because of the weather. The dishes in the cabinets were not clean we had to wash them before using them. We figured out the soap door on the dishwasher was not opening so thats why dishes were not coming clean. T When we checked in we were warned that the bathtub was certainly clean even though it didn't look like it. And it was. It was clean but the finish was gone on it and everything was orange and rusty. Hinges and fixtures were rusty. All was liveable and not the end of the world but it didnt get that way over night so if I were the owner I would not have rented it out that way. Room was supposed to have a partial ocean view but not the case. Shrubs in front of porch blocked the view. Overall it was an ok stay. The beach was perfectly beautiful and there were plenty of beach chairs and umbrellas

Great stay!

We normally stay further south on manasota key but couldn’t get a place and I stumbled across here
 the beach was great, pool and room were clean and comfy! We will definitely be coming and staying longer ASAP!

Enjoyable and peaceful

LBK is a great place to vacation or spend a long weekend. Quiet, private beaches with easy access to good restaurants nearby. This location is a great choice

 You set them up but they are free to use and there were always chairs available.

This place was quiet and clean. The only thing is the laundry should be free. Since it isn’t free, please put a change machine in there. No place to get change except the office and they close at 5pm

The property was perfect! Had everything we needed inside and out. Loved the beach chairs near the water and beach/pool gear was conveniently self-serve. The pool was clean. Perfect for night time swims after at day at the beach. We can’t wait to come back!

Best beaches on florida very private, perfect for relaxation !!!!

Super Clean, all you need to spend days on a very VIP beach, beach and ocean a very close to the other ones that I had been on Caribbean, warm water even on earlier morning, nobody else on the beach.

It was perfect! Clean quiet and on the beach. We really enjoyed our experience. Having a full kitchen gave us ease on having to go out to eat and allowed us to enjoy the beach and pool more. Definitely will book again. Highly recommend.

Weekend Getaway

Perfect

Wonderful location on Longboat Key! We loved that we were just steps from the beach!

This place is very clean and well maintained. Loved the setup of the suites and proximity to the pool and beach. Great location and local restaurants nearby. I would highly recommend.
