Gulf Post

Perfect size resort. Unit came with everything you’d need. Excellent location on LBK with everything a short drive north or south. Large pool. Onsite ice machine for guests. Shady grass at the edge of the beach when respite needed from all that sun. We loved everything about Sand Cay and our unit.

Beach Vacation

This was my first trip to the Longboat Key area. The condo was right on the beach. The stretch of beach in front of the condos is great and the provided chairs and umbrellas were nice. The area is less touristy than the Anna Maria area, but a short drive to the shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay here again!

Girls trip & my kids

A group of us come every year to visit a friend who is local. This was our first time in Longboat. Longboat is an easy an drive to Siesta, St Armand’s Circle. Longboat does not seem to have food delivery services. That was something we didn’t expect. The unit itself was very clean, stocked with 6 beach towels, and some bathroom towels. The extra storage room not pictured was nice to have. We stored our suitcases in there. The unit also had 2 box fans. I love a box fan! There was an umbrella in the closet, we didn’t use it though. I was pretty excited that they had the IKEA beach tent. We’ve had this before and love it. It did have little tears in the top but that didn’t stop it from working and they do tear easily. They also had sun chairs on the beach free to use. Also if you are traveling with kids the office was stocked with games. And near the beach they had baskets full of beach toys. I love that! The grounds of condo were mostly clean. We did see a few cans in the parking lot and most disgustingly 2 used condoms that were there the whole week. There seemed to be ample parking during the week but on weekends there were so many cars. Overall it had everything we needed. If you stay more then a few days you will probably need wash towels, so bring detergent. They had about 6 washes and 6 dryers near the pool. I usually only book places with in unit W/D but we didn’t plan ahead this year and lots of places were already booked. Overall everything was great!

Good Location

Me encanto la propiedad porque esta muy cerca de la playa, a solo pasos. La unidad en la que aloje esta remodelada y linda, al estilo playero, solo le faltan algunos utensilios para cocinar, pero en terminos generales, tiene lo basico. Buenas camas y ropa de cama. Las toallas de playa y de la unidad, limpias. Definitivamente, repetiria.

LBK is the best!

What a wonderful time in LBK! The sand cay was the perfect location and we were able to drive to a lot of fantastic restaurants nearby (10 min or less). Very easy to walk right to the beach and it was not crowded at all. We loved walking on the beach and collecting shells. The only downside is the umbrella situation which was shared in advance. We had two broken ones so it sometimes made it frustrating to set up. You don’t have to pay for them so we weren’t upset. The chairs were great and loved the towels. Everything was very accessible. We will be back!

Girl getaway

The condo was very nice and clean. Pretty much everything we needed was provided. Beds were very comfortable!! The bathrooms might need a little attention as far as sink and tub/shower drainage. Also the tile in the master shower was very slick. We bought inexpensive mats with suction cups to hold in place, worked great!! Overall it was a great condo in a great location. Beach was very close and beautiful., and best of all not too crowded!! We had a wonderful vacation at Sand Cay!!!

Perfect Girls Getaway

This property exceeded our expectations. It was extremely clean and well stocked upon arrival. The property manager explained all that was available for our use upon check in. The beach is awesome and they provide tons for use on the beach. We would absolutely stay again.

Really fabulous condo!

We absolutely loved our stay in #2021 Sand Cay! We have been coming to Longboat Key for decades, always loyal to another hotel/resort. Well- we are no longer loyal to them! This condo was perfect for our family- parents and two teens. PLENTY of room, so comfortable for the four of us. The whole space was immaculate, and the location was perfect. Easy quick drive to all restaurants, and mere steps from the Gulf. I loved the fact that you don't get nickle and dimed for things like chairs and towels- and this condo also provided coolers and more for the beach- even a tent shelter! We had fun at night playing the provided games. The kitchen is fully stocked for everything you could possibly need. We can not wait to return and plan to book this exact condo again. Sand Cay is so family friendly, really feels like a community. Another bonus was the designated parking space. Unit #201 felt like home- but with a much, much better view. You will be lucky if you stay here! Thank you for providing a wonderful vacation. Can not wait to return!

Girls Getaway

Great place for a girls getaway trip! Condo was perfect size for 4 adults and 1 teen. Property & beach area very clean and well maintained. unit 201, Sand Cay

The condo was clean, nicely decorated, and convenient to the beach, supermarket, shopping, and restaurants. I wish there had been a toaster oven instead of a conventional toaster, because we had to use the big oven every time we needed to warm up a small portion of anything. All in all, however, we were pleased with our stay.
