Starting with the good and ending with the bad. The staff was wonderful from the golf cart drivers to the wait staff they were all excellent. If I were to rate the hotel based only on the staff they would get a 5+ stars. The hotel is beautiful and the grounds are very well maintained. The roof top pool was amazing. The all inclusive is very confusing! Upon arrival they tried to up sale us to the premium all inclusive package!? which was very expensive and frankly you don't need it. They make you sign a bill for everything. Every meal, every drink. they even make you sign a bill every hour if your just sitting at the pool. This is very inconvenient and cumbersome! It seems to slow up everything from the time to get a drink to the time it takes to eat at a restaurant. The food was good but not great. The mini bar and in room coffee was confusing as it is all marked with stickers stating you have to pay for it even though you don't. Our room was beautiful with a amazing view however we had some problems. On the first day the water coming from all the spickets was dark brown but was fixed the next day, the AC went out in our master but was fixed quickly, our front door would not lock it took 3 days to fix with multiple requests. We ended up wedging a chair under the door knob to keep it secure. Upon leaving and checking out they attempt to make you pay extra taxes and what they call ground maintenance fees. This made me feel nickel and dimed and ended the trip on a low note!
