In the heart of the Santa Ynez Valley wine country, this home sits on a quiet cul-de-sac street just a short walk to numerous wine tasting rooms, galleries, shops and restaurants of downtown Los Olivos. Don't forget Santa Barbara is a short 25 minute drive away if a beach picnic is on the agenda.

This traditional Ranch-style home, with an abundance of windows and French doors, is bright and inviting. The Living Room features a stone fireplace connecting to an open concept Kitchen with bar seating with a formal Dining Room nearby. The Primary Suite offers spa amenities while two Guest Bedrooms create a tranquil escape. Outside is where the real magic happens. Adorned with repurposed wine barrels, the backyard provides numerous seating areas, a trickling fountain and pond, and a full size Bocce Ball Court. Plan a great barbecue feast or gather around the fire pit to enjoy the quiet neighborhood and a local bottle of wine.

My family and I completely enjoyed our stay. A lovely, spacious home located in a quiet neighborhood in the heart of Los Olivos. The home had all of the amenities you could want and was well stocked. We relaxed and had a great time. Would not hesitate to come back and stay again.

The property is very nice. BE AWARE OF THE HIGH SERVICE FEE.

Clean, nicely appointed spacious property. The bathroom lights are on motion sensors and come on full force with no dimmer. Blows out your retnas in the middle of the night. I enjoyed our stay. However, the high service fee might prevent me staying again.

Gorgeous Property, Amazing Location

We enjoyed our stay at the Wine Barrel Cottage. The property is gorgeous and the house is top of the line when it comes to comfort. We enjoyed the gas fireplace, the gardens and even played some badminton with their setup in the back. The master bed was very comfortable. I’d highly recommend this property for anyone looking to stay near Los Olivos. It was an easy 5 minute walk into town.

Perfect Location

We a pent a long weekend with my husband and friends in Los Olivos. The house is perfectly situated for a short walk in to town, and ease of accessibility to destinations just outside of town. The home is exactly as described and pictured. It was exceptionally clean, well stocked and quiet. We really couldn’t have asked for more!

Amazing rental 5 minute walk to Los Olivos center

Immaculate rental super close to Los Olivos - right around the corner from the Corner House Cafe. The rental is appointed with everything you need for an amazing wine country getaway. The house is very large and can support easily three adult couples, plenty of space to hangout in the backyard and enjoy a glass of wineand some charcuterie or a game of bocce ball. Beds are super comfortable and living room has a big couch to curl up and watch a movie. While we ate out every night the kitchen and BBQ would come in handy for anyone wanting to make their own meals. Rental Agency was super responsive and communicative. We’ll definitely be back!

Stunning!!

Everything about this property was just gorgeous!!!!!! We have stayed here in the past and will 100% come back here for future travels! The little town is just a hop skip and a jump away and just a quick drive to Solvang. The property itself is just stunning and my family and I loved the indoor outdoor living!

Lovely property. If you like to sleep in, the master bedroom is not for you - it has a skylight right over the bed. Good location - walking distance to adorable downtown, however, there is quite a steep hill to tackle.

The cottage is lovely and in a very convenient location. Property managers were not readily available to address on site concerns. Check out instructions were poor. I was charged an additional cleaning fee even when following their checkout protocols. Due to this, would not recommend or stay at an accommodation run by Paradise Retreats.

Early Mother's Day get away.

Our family has been coming to Los Olivos to celebrate Mother' Day for the last twelve years. And this property is by far the best residence we have have rented. It's a very short walk to the flag pole and it's tasting rooms and shops. The grounds are amazing both visually and the activities/ sports equipment provided. The house was very clean and contemporary in all aspects.

Walking distance to wine tasting rooms

The location of this property can't be beat - you are walking distance to all of the wine tasting rooms in Los Olivos. We enjoyed the gas fireplace in the living room and the master bed with spacious and comfortable. Everything is well labeled, making it easy to figure out how to adjust to the house. Highly recommend.

Worked out perfectly

Came with 2 other couples to do some cycling in the area. The house was well appointed, and roomy for the 6 of us. Location was perfect for walking into town. Communicating with property managers was easy. Would definitely start again.
