Located less than 3 miles from Churchill Downs, the Expo Center (Fairgrounds and KY Kingdom), downtown (NuLu, 4th Street Live, hospital district, the Yum Center). Walking distance to University of Louisville. Centrally located for Bourbon Trail Tours. 10 minute drive to Bardstown Road and Frankfort Avenue. A list of local favorite restaurants and walking distance restaurants and bars is provided in the rental.

This rental includes amenities such as coffee and tea, plush towels, shampoo and conditioner, hairdryer. Also, we take care of all the cleaning, trash, etc. Just leave the kitchen as you found it and leave the rest to us.

One bedroom apartment on 2nd of an Old Louisville Victorian...950 sf with one bathroom. The main bedroom is on the second floor. There is an additional bedroom and an office on the 3rd floor but it is not air conditioned and needs updates so I am just listing the apartment as one bedroom. Main bedroom has a king bed with an amazing memory foam mattress. Sectional couch sleeps one adult or two children.

The recently renovated kitchen includes everything you would need to prepare meals at home including basic condiments. The appliances include a dishwasher, stove/oven, refrigerator with icemaker, coffee maker, French press, microwave plus a washer and dryer. The private covered porch overlooks the backyard. The bad: When we booked, there were pictures of two bedrooms and the listing said up to 8 guests could stay. The host and I spoke, and it was decided that our party of 4 could stay between the 2 bedrooms and an air mattress. Upon arrival, there was access to one bedroom and a couch to sleep on. The host offered to make up the second bed, but we arrived late and the upstairs bedroom was so hot that it wouldn't have been tenable. The floors were so dirty that they made our feet black. The keys both stuck in the front door. The bathroom door would not close. When we arrived, the thermostats were set above 80 degrees. We frequently smelled cigarette smoke inside of the unit. The good: The bed was comfortable and we had everything we needed in the kitchen. Our stay was very quiet. We had parking right in front of the house on most evenings. The back patio was a great place to relax, and we appreciated having a washer and dryer on our stay.

Very old home in old Historic Louisville district. Owner very friendly and had several things available to use. Nice big towels and coffee available. Would stay here again.

Great location in historic district. Very nice neighborhood for morning walks. House was older, but we’ll maintained. Would recommend for up to 4. Only limitation after that would be only one full bath in apartment.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. Although we didn't walk to any of the nearby restaurants that was definitely an option. The property was clean and well taken care of. The check-in and check-out process was super simple. The only downside was parking. It's all street parking and one night it was pretty limited but that is no fault of to the owner just the nature of the neighborhood. Overall I would most definitely stay here again.
