The hotel should be called the micro hotel. The rooms are smaller than a prison cell with no place to put any luggage. The shower, sink and toilet is all open in the same small room. It was clean enough and the staff was helpful but they could not make the room big enough for two people. Maybe ok if all you are bringing is a backpack.

Location is not the best, as you have to walk 15min from train station. Room was alright, not spacious but did the job. One thing is they wanted a 20 euro deposit for hair dryer (as there is no hair dryer in room), weird, that's a first for me. They also asked for 20 or 25 euro for early check-in, I said we can wait, then they gave us the room since its ready, and its only an hour and half till the 'official' check-in time.

A woman staff in reception is unwelcome. I don't feel I was treated well and she was rude. However, a staff called Alex is friendly and willing to help every customer. He saved the hotel.

The hotel is in a very good location easy to get on and off the bus nice grocery store close by. The rooms are small, but very clean. Staff was very pleasant.

We upgraded to the biggest room last-minute after reading about the smaller room size on the internet, and we are so glad we did! Facilities were very clean, and the hotel was walkable to the station and the Luzern city centre. The only complaint we would have was the wifi kept dropping in and out, maybe due to the location of our room.

Ok but Hot Room

For the most part, everything was just fine or average. The breakfast was fairly minimal compared to other european hotels, but was sufficient for a budget option. The cleanliness was good. The room was not a bad size but the bed could have been more comfortable and it was constantly warm/hot in the room even with air conditioning on full.

This by far is the BEST... as it's 30 seconds from free bus stop to center town and old town. Rooms are small as in most of Europe Super Duper staff Thank You

I wasn’t happy with having to pay extra for parking on the hotel property…that should have been included in the purchase of the room. Also was not very happy with the hot water situation in the shower…the temperature kept jumping around from too hot to too cold the whole time without adjusting the tap. For a room that cost me more than $800 Australian dollars a night…I think it SHOULD have been top notch!

This is a budget hotel. The rooms are very small, with small cubicles for shower and toilet. A curtain divides the beds from the shower & toilet doors. There are no bedside tables, or tea/coffee making facilities. Two small paper cups were provided. The room was very clean, and the beds are comfortable. Large, white soft towels provided. The blow dryer needed to be requested from Reception (after paying a 20CHF deposit - which was returned when blowdryer was returned). 3.5CHF was charged to store luggage.

Budget stay in Luzern

It was a budget hotel but close to buses, trains and walking distance to lake and cafes. Toilet was snug but shower was ok. Bed was comfy. Staff were very helpful and friendly. We only wanted a bed and were out each day.
