Filthy, complete dump

This is one of the worst days I have ever had. From the outside it’s a darling brick cottage. Inside, the floors are uneven and buckle. There’s carpeting that’s filthy in the building is musty. There is no way the room was cleaned before we got in. There was dried toothpaste in the sink. The floor was filthy as you can see in the photo. The bed is an old spring mattress with springs that are popping through and creek every time you move in the bed. The whole. needs to be gutted.

Hot tub was just a pool of warm water. Pools and tub in need of major repair which is too bad because the pool is a very nice size. Room needs more electrical outlets. We had the end top floor unit. There was a loud banging noise off and on during the night and day, may have been laundry but not sure.

You face room issues, they could care less

An older motel that is maintained at a very good level of cleanliness. It is, however, certainty not updated to any modern level. Even the pillows and mattress, though clean, were tad lumpy with wear. My two biggest issues were with 1) equipment 2) management. Coffee did not work and this was verified when I took it to housekeeping and they could not get it to work. And I was not offered a nee one. TV remote would turn on tv but not change channels and no way to do manually on tv. When I informed them of this they said sometimes guest add their streaming info and that makes the remote to need re-programming. Again, I was not offered a different remote. Just expected to live with it. Lastly, I mentioned the noise in the walls after talking a shower and was told it was just water hammering. 2) When management was told of all this I was meant with a blank expression. No attempt at all to express concern or compassion and absolutely no attempt at even saying sorry much les try yo address issues. Felt like ti was a “thanks for paying us, too bad you had issues.”

Parking was weird but worked out, it was on street parking. Loved having a swimming pool.Loved lower floor accessable room. I was given extra towels when requested but not the toilet paper I asked for, perhaps they only heard towels. I would stay again. Excellent location.

Not only were we charged several times for our room for two nights by the hotel and through Expedia but also we were locked out of our room for several hours hours on the second night due to our key not working and the guy working at the front desk just kept telling me there was nothing he could due to call the energy # so I called it about 50 times leaving multiple messages til finally someone called me back and she tried to get ahold of the maintenance guy and he wouldn’t answer his phone either then finally after several hours of us being stuck in the rain and in the hallway soak and wet cold and tired the guy shows up at 2am to finally let us back into our room. It was the worst stay I’ve ever had

When we got in, we noticed a puddle of water in front of the toilet on the floor. We notified the front desk, and the person there said there is no maintenance available to deal with it but she would note it so that we are not deducted for it. We told her we would put some of the motel's towels there to keep it contained. The potential for possible raw liquid waste did not appear to be any concern.
