Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). Great place & location, amenities were disappointing

This is a great place and a great location, but the heat didn't work when we got there. I was able to get the boiler working, but it stopped and had to be reset 3 more times during stay which resulted in 2 people running out of hot water while showering. The dishwasher didn't work, so we had to hand wash all the dishes. I know these are first world problems, but when you're paying over 600/night, you expect better. The management agency (that apparently I can't name due to VRBO content guidelines), gave me incorrect information about the dishwasher and heating system being repaired. Their communication was non-existent and the refund they offered was laughable. I had to spend 2 hours on the phone w VRBO and the management agency; not the way you want to spend your vacation. I will try avoid booking with both in the future.

Close to ski hill lacking comfort

The property was so close to ohkemo and made for wonderful and easy skiing. The cabin lacked comfort in the beds and pillows - very uncomfortable. The house was clean and had all the basics needed. Bathing towels were very very small. If you are to stay at this property - bring your own pillows and towels.

The actual home was fantastic. Perfect for our large family, location to the slopes wonderful. Management company & listing is disappointing. The listing clearly states “beautiful home near lifts with fireplace, Mountain View’s, cable, and washer/dryer” I requested access to the washer/dryer and was denied to was apart of the listing. I sent them the pictures of my receipt/listing and nothing. We were a family of 10 that only brought a couple days worth of clothes based on the washer/dryer. The management company would not even acknowledge the picture of my receipt/listing just kept saying not included. So to the laundromat we went. Also the home was 2 hours late for check in based on not clean. I was offered a refund for the cleaning fee on 12/27. This was not done until I sent an email asking for the refund I was promised. While my family had a great vacation we will try to never rent again if It is managed by the same management company.
