Originally built in the late 1800s as a cozy 3-room cabin, this homestead has been thoughtfully expanded to offer spacious accommodations. Offering 3 bedrooms (including 2 queen beds, 1 full bed, and 3 twin beds), 2 bathrooms, and generous indoor and outdoor space, this cabin provides room for up to 8 guests to relax and unwind in comfort.

Located right next to a picturesque mountain stream and featuring a private, spring-fed pond, you’ll have endless opportunities for outdoor fun. Enjoy peaceful afternoons fishing (catch and release), boating in the flat-bottom boat, or simply relaxing by the water. And when you’re ready to venture out, Shenandoah National Park awaits just minutes away, offering miles of hiking trails, stunning views (especially during the fall!), and wildlife to discover.

Take advantage of the close proximity to other local attractions for year-round adventure as well. The very popular Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park Camp Resort - with swimming pools, water slides, mini golf, and much more - is only a short 5-minute drive down the road! Downtown Luray is only a 10-minute drive away with shopping and restaurants, as well as Luray Caverns – a popular destination for people from all over the world. During the winter months, Massanutten Resort, offering skiing and an indoor water park, is only 30 miles away.

*Pet Friendly! There is a 2 pet limit - $30/night per pet. Just a heads-up: after dark, keep an eye on your pets—they might discover the local skunk population!

This property has special local compliance requirements which include a signed rental agreement, ID verification, and a security hold of $2500 (which is not a traditional security deposit, just a pending transaction). As an optional alternative to the security hold, you may opt in to purchase a non-refundable damage waiver provided by a third-party insurance company. The optional damage waiver is $59 for stays up to 10 nights, with an additional $2 per day for stays longer than 10 nights. Damage waiver purchases are optional.
