Our family room was perfect for us - my daughter loved the bunk beds and having the outdoor area was lovely and so handy for our dog. We love Lyme Regis and The Royal Lion Hotel. It is historic and charming.The rooms are large and comfortable.It has a new indoor pool. The food is great. It is in the high street so very close to shops, restaurants, bars,and cafes, and of course the sea and the quaint Cobb.

Hotel looks a bit well worn when you walk up, but inside it is nicely furnished. Our 3-bed room (25) was newly refurbished, very comfortable, quiet (but no view). Breakfast fine. Parking on site is a bit tight but it works fine. Hotel is in a great location, hotel staff excellent, very friendly. Maybe need some new carpets sometime but in the big picture, a really good stay in Lyme Regis.
