Windows could open which was nice. Airco was quiet but general sound proofing should be improved. Bathroom was awful. Way too small and lots of mold. Bed was surprisingly comfortable

Amazing hotel in the centre of Lyon!

This was an awesome hotel in the heart of Lyon... very close to the old town and within walking distance of most of the city's attractions. The staff were super friendly, the room was very clean, and it had a great continental breakfast in the mornings. I would definitely come back here.

The hotel was well located in the Old Town of Lyon and out the door in any direction was somewhere to eat, drink or shop — maybe all three at once. The room was a very nice size and the value was excellent!

Enjoyed our stay at Grand Hotel. Our room was amazing; nice, clean and big with a large bathroom. The A/C did not seem to cool down our room much - luckily it was a little rainy while we were there and opening the windows helped. Elevator is small and we had to carry our large suitcases up a small staircase to get to the room once on our floor. But nothing substantial that would deter me from staying here again. Great location - quick walk to Vieux Lyon and rue Merciere where there are a TON of restaurants (we recommend the pizza at Figlio). Highly recommend

Multiple problems with air conditioning, had to change rooms and had more problems with it in the new room when it started leaking water at midnight. It doesn’t feel like a four star hotel in any way. Good location is the positive.

Not a 4 star hotel at all. Do not stay here.

Property is not remotely similar to what’s listed. The pool had the heat cranked up, and there is no AC. Having a unit on the wall that doesn’t work does not count as having it. There’s weird posters in the hall about being on the site of beheadings, murder, and pigs eating human remains. If you’re into that great, but it was creepy. This is not a 4 star hotel, a 2 star at best.

Great value in central Lyon

Loved this hotel. Fantastic central location within walking distance of everything but quiet street. Our rooms were spacious and very clean with updated bathrooms. Staff were very helpful. Would definitely stay there again next time in Lyon
