There's a restaurant on site. Public spaces have free WiFi. Spa services, a terrace, and barbecue grills are also featured at Casita Ysabel. Self parking is free.
Smoking is allowed in designated areas at this 3-star Mabini bed & breakfast.
The single lane driveway to the property is a treacherous/slippery downhill drive. Unit sleeps 6 people but manager charged me $30 for extra bed that is filthy. Included breakfast is only coffee & toast. No choice but to buy their food, pricey $9 per person. Not a resort; No activities; No services! Not worth a 2nd night stay!!
So, the property itself was nice and beautiful and staff were super friendly. Even the nearby hotels/villas allowed us (me and my gf) to dine in at their bar/restaurants.
Staff and the excellent view are the ones to like in the place. Food is okay, rooms are clean but needs to be renovated. squicky bamboo bed, aircon needs to be replaced, old and cannot really cool the room. Pet-friendly. I like the beach and my kid loves the pool. We enjoyed our stay nevertheless.
CONS
âą The food wasn't great, not alot of choices (2 or 3 to be exact)
âą Place is a bit rundown, pool (more like a fish pond) is dirty.
âą the owner wasn't very accommodating, it's like staying in a place where you don't feel welcome.
âą Parking is horrendous, way too steep
PROS
âą The staff were lovely especially kuya Charles
âą Buttons the lab was so cuteeee
âą the view is amazing and very relaxed
âą cold beers
Overpriced and very poor service. No ref, no kettle, no TV. Once you find somebody, at least they are kind. Food? If you have no car, you will find a hard something besides cup noodles. Boat trips? overpriced as well
The place was really relaxing, staffs were nice and very accomodating. You can even ask them to buy stuffs for you if they don't have it in their resort however pool side and cemented stairs are slimmy. You have to be very careful when walking if you don't want to get scratches or
