They charged an extra $100 at checkin that was to be refunded later. They got to use my $$$ for a couple days. Lots of dogs. Breakfast was cold small sweet rolls with a few hot items. Hard to serve yourself with very little room for a plate. They also should be able to tell you about the adjouned restaurant even when it isn't theirs.

The hotel was a 10 minute drive from downtown Madison. It was located in a nice, safe area. It had free parking. The bed was comfortable. The shower had great water pressure. Free breakfast. The hotel was a bit older. But overall good place to stay. I would stay again.

After checking in, I was placed in the isolated second building of the hotel. It was creepy, isolated, and uncomfortable. When I complained, I was told that I was given that room because I booked through a third party (hotels.com). I could not stay and insisted on getting another room. After a 10 min discussion, I was indeed given another room in the main hotel building (where other guests were seen).

The hotel is a little outdated and no noise privacy in room but it was convenient, has a beautiful walking trail off the parking lot, a great breakfast, water refills, and indoor pool. The staff was also friendly and helpful.
