Charming stay and location

We could not have imagined a more comfortable and charming three week stay in Madrid. The apartment is well appointed and wonderfully located in the central heart of old Madrid. Rosario is a gracious host.

We LOVED our stay here. The apartment is so cute and comfortable. The location is outstanding. So much to do right outside the front door. Oscar and Rosa were great with communication. All went smoothly. Loved this place.

A perfect haven in a perfect location

What a perfect place for your Madrid adventure. Right in the heart of the old town, with its food and culture and history. But close the front door, and you are in your own little sanctuary. The apartment has everything that you need and Oscar was such a fantastic host, giving us great tips on making the most of our time in Madrid.

Very comfortable apartment. Lots of room and well equipped. Although we did not cook, it looked like there was everything we would need to prepare a meal in the apartment. Rosa gave us some tips on where to go in Madrid, and indicated on a map where the best areas to go for restaurants beyond the tourist area around Plaza Mayor.

Comfortable apartment in heart of city

Very clean and well-maintained/furnished apartment in a great location in Madrid. Nice amount of space. Apartment is supplied with all we needed (small kitchen, coffee, shampoo, soap, internet, etc). Elevator and A/C were both appreciated, and keys to get in and out were easy to use. The hosts are very responsive and were there to meet us at apartment. They provided dining recommendations on request, and there are great places to eat literally steps from the front door. The fun Mercado de San Miguel food hall is close by, but there are many choices for food/drink all within 1-2 blocks. Not super close to the Metro, but it is only 2-3 blocks away. Bed was a bit firm and not great water temp/pressure in shower, but those are small complaints. We would easily stay here again.

Fantastic apartment

Everything was perfect from checking in to leaving Oscar is so helpful The apartment is immaculate and there is an elevator to that floor which is very helpful when taking heavy luggage up to the apartment It’s in a great central area and I chose it because the reviews said it is quiet. The bedroom is really quiet as it’s in a spacious corner attic. The bed is good quality so sleep is comfortable. It’s a spacious apartment and the windows have great views over the city It’s also equipped with everything you need and top quality furnishings There’s more than enough room for 2 people and my niece stayed one night on the sofa bed which is also comfortable I was on my own most of the time but I felt secure as the doors and locks are top quality I have stayed many times in Madrid but this is the best apartment yet. Oscar messaged me more than once to ask if everything was ok. He has great info of the city and restaurants I could not fault it I will definitely stay here again Thanks

Oscar et Rosa sont très accueillants et Chaleureux. Ils nous ont tout expliqué en arrivant malgré notre arrivée d'heure tardive. Ils sont également très arrangeant pour les départs. Nous les remercions beaucoup. On ne peut rêver mieux comme emplacement à Madrid. Cet appartement est situé à 100 mètre de la Plaza Mayor. Comme il est situé dans une petite rue piétonne, il est très au calme. Nous avons visité tous les lieux touristique à pied (20 minutes maximum pour les plus lointain). Les bars à tapas sont très nombreux aux alentours. Vous trouverez facilement votre bonheur. Quand à l'appartement, il est magnifique. Rosa a tout décoré avec goût. La salle de bain est superbe, et m'a donné des idées pour refaire la mienne. Le canapé est facilement convertible et très confortable. Le matelas du lit est très bien. La cuisine est tout équipée, même un nespresso. Ils avaient même laissé des dosettes. Cet appartement est mille fois mieux que l'hotel. Nous avons adoré ce quartier. Lorsque nous reviendrons à Madrid, nous ne nous poserons plus de questions, c'est direction chez Rosa. Je recommande cet appartement 5 étoiles. Mille merci à Oscar et Rosa. Emmanuel

A great place to stay

We stayed here last week and the appartment is just like in the photos. Even though it's not the biggest of appartments, there was plenty of room for the four of us (2 adults & 2 children). It's clean, decorated tastfully and quiet, being on a street with no trafic. It was less than five minutes walk to the main square and in an area with lots of tapas bars and restaurants so the location couldn't be better. Rosa was really helpful when we arrived, and having things like coffee, tea, salt etc already there was a big help. I'd recommend to anyone staying in Madrid.

ENDROIT IDÉAL

J'ai habité cet appartement pendant deux semaines et espère pouvoir y retourner un jour. On ne pourrait trouver meilleur endroit pour bien profiter de Madrid. Situé sur une rue piétonne, l'appartement offre une grande tranquillité tout en nous donnant accès, à une distance de quelques pas, à l'animation qui caractérise Madrid. Le quartier offre un nombre incalculable de bars à tapas renommés et ce, pour tous les budgets. (Ne manquez pas la Casa revuelta dont la spécialité est le bacalao frit, sur la Plaza de la Puerta cerrada, à deux pas de l'appartement). L'appartement est d'un grand confort, joliment décoré et bien équipé. La propriétaire, Rosario, est hyper gentille et fiable: ponctuelle et de parole. Elle fournit des informations utiles et pertinentes et accepte de rendre des services, au besoin. Bref, un endroit que je recommande sans aucune hésitation et où j'espère retourner.

SUPER LOCATION

Propriétaires très accueillants et chaleureux, ils sont venus nous accueillir à la station de métro SOL (à seulement 5mn à pied de l'appartement). La location est un appartement entièrement rénové meublé et décoré avec beaucoup de goût. Literie également neuve est très confortable sur un lit king size ( 160 de large ) . Douche à l'italienne très vaste, Tout est encore plus beau que sur les photos. Cuisine équipée avec tout le nécessaire. Chaque pièce est équipée d'une clim individuelle très utile durant notre séjour et particulièrement silencieuse, Les propriétaires ont eu la gentillesse de nous accueillir avec une bouteille de vin Rioja ( excellent ) et des bières au frigo. L'appartement est idéalement situé au centre de MADRID à 100 M de la Plaza Mayor, situé au 4ème étage, il est tout de même très calme situé dans une rue piétonne près d'une petite place Nous avons pu visiter tous les lieux touristiques à pied .( Palacio Réal et Museo del Prado dans un rayon de 10 mn à pied. Location que nous recommandons vivement à tous nos amis. idéal pour 1 OU 2 couples ( divan convertible ) ou couple avec enfant. Séjour 5 étoiles. Bien mieux qu'une chambre d'hôtel. Au pied de l appartement , dans les rues voisines ( CAVAS BAJAS et CAVAS ALTAS) de fabuleux bars à tapas, Un GRAND MERCI au propriétaires Rosa et Oscar, tous 2 très sympathiques qui indiquent par mail les meilleurs resaurants et lieux à visiter et donnent vraiment envie de retourner à Madrid

A lovely, well-placed apartment

The apartment is situated in a perfect location close to Plaza Mayor, but not so close as to be loud. Some of the best tapas bars—and Restaurante Botin—are less than 500 feet away. The hosts are gracious and provided useful information, as well. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this venue to anyone wishing to be near the heart of Madrid.

¡Fabuloso!

We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful, perfectly located, comfortable place for our time in Madrid. Rosa responded so quickly every time we had questions, and Oscar was there waiting for us when we stepped out of the taxi in front of the apartment. Such excellent hosts! The apartment was right there in the center of the action. We were able to visit all the attractions from El Prado Museum to el Palacio Real without the need of taxis, busses, or the metro. A great city for walking. The apartment was perfectly clean, quiet, light and airy, updated and modern. And, very important, a comfortable mattress! Carole and I could not have been more satisfied. Perfect location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this clean and comfortable apartment in the heart of Madrid. It’s location is perfect, being in a quiet pedestrian street yet close to lots of restaurants and the historic parts of this beautiful city. Oscar and Rosa provided everything we needed to make our stay very comfortable. We were also very appreciative of them being so accommodating with our early arrival. Thank you Oscar and Rosa, we love Madrid and would have no hesitation in staying with you again.

Great location, helpful owners, beautiful, modern apartment - highly recommended

We had a great experience with this rental. The location is great - walking distance from many attractions, plenty of good restaurants and bars too. Short walk away from metro station and buses. The apartment was excellent - super clean, modern, stylish, had everything you might need including a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, coffee maker etc. I would definitely stay again.
