The room was very spacious. We loved being right on a major metro line with easy access to and from the train station. Walkable to major sites. We were there during a festival period and there were shows on the plaza, but it wasn’t too loud. The sunrises and sunsets from our balcony were amazing!

The front desk staff were excellet. Housekeeping was adequate. There was remodeling directly across from the room and we were woken up twice by emergency alarms that resulted from the remodeling.

This hotel couldn’t be in a better spot! You’re just minutes away from restaurants, local shops, and plenty to explore on foot — the location really is a win. When it comes to comfort, though, there’s a bit of room for improvement. The beds and pillows weren’t the most comfortable, and the towels could definitely be softer. Also, keep in mind that the A/C system isn’t quite like what you’d find in the U.S., so if you’re visiting during warm weather, be prepared for it to feel a bit different.

We changed our accommodation last minute and found Petit Palace Puerta del Sol & we are so glad. We had a quad room (2 adults & 2 kids) and it was great! The room was spacious and bathroom very nice. The location is great and we did so much walking! Lots of shopping, eateries and a big supermarket & shopping centre next street over. We would stay again when we come back :)
