Villa Can Picassa Tafona is over 300 years old! This magnificent traditional country ‘Finca’ is located within the stunning Valley of ‘Vall d’en March’ near the ancient town of Pollensa in the North of Mallorca and is the perfect place to enjoy a well-deserved holiday!

Nestling cosily in a lovely secluded spot, which is a 7 minute drive from Pollensa old town the views over the countryside and mountains are spectacular! This is some of Mallorca’s most breath-taking countryside. Being located at the upper end of the UNESCO Tramuntana mountain range, the natural beauty of the area cries out to be explored – particularly on foot! And the great thing is, it doesn’t matter what time of year you visit, spring, summer, autumn or winter, the countryside is all yours to discover! Hiking routes definitely worthy of a mention are the Puig Tomir, which is by far the highest mountain in this area, and the Curculla de Fartàritx! The property is perfect for Golfing holidays with the nearest nine hole course 11km away (Pollenca Golf Club) and 18 hole (Alcanada Golf Club) 23 km away. The property is also only 18 minutes away by car from the beautiful Cala Sant Vicenç and 16 minutes away by car from Puerto Pollença.



This traditional Mallorcan farmhouse may be over 300 years old but a recent refurbishment has transformed it into a delightful holiday rental home with many traditional features, rustic touches and a modernised feel throughout. Villa Can Picassa Tafona comprises the beautiful main farmhouse and a separate guest house. Decor wise, it’s a perfect marriage of the old and new. The spacious living areas are a joy to behold. Traditional wood beams, wooden window shutters, lovely antique Spanish furniture, white painted walls adorned with colourful art, terracotta-tiled floor – it’s all rather beautiful. With ample interior space for relaxing and coming together, including a cinema room with a projector screen! There is also portable SONOS available.



The spacious eat in kitchen with a table for 8 people has been beautifully refurbished and is extremely well equipped for all of your dining needs, including 2 dishwashers, a fridge with ice maker and an extra fridge. There are also 2 ovens; one combi oven + microwave and a second combi oven + steam. Delightful features and lighting create a lovely ambience. Indoor dining table for 10 guests.



The bedrooms are light, bright and cosy. Can Picassa Tafona sleeps up to 12 people comfortably. In the main house you’ll find 6 bedrooms (2 doubles and 4 twins) and 6 bathrooms in total (3 of which are en suite), 3 of the bathrooms have showers and 3 offer baths with shower attachments.

*Upon request, one of the twin bedrooms can be converted into a 160x200 double bed. There is also an extra drawer bed available in the children's twin bedroom* There is a hairdryer available in all of the bathrooms.



The delightful independent guest house sleeps 2 people in style. There is a double bed, bathroom, kitchen and indoor dining table. You can sit back, relax in the evenings with a glass of wine and enjoy the breath-taking views on the terrace. There is also Air Conditioning and additional heating for the cooler months.



The exterior of Can Picassa Tafona is highly impressive. The delightful established gardens are full of mature trees, shrubs and colourful bougainvillea. An array of gorgeous stone terraces are just perfect for chilling out with a good book or for sunbathing by the private swimming pool (salt water) with its unique oval shape. A pool fence is available on request at an extra charge per week. Additionally there is a Jacuzzi!



You’ll find plenty of outdoor dining options too. An outdoor dining table (just off the main kitchen) for 12 guests plus a further outdoor dining area by the pool side for 12 guests. So why not fire up the built-in barbecue or enjoy a romantic al fresco candlelit meal beneath the stars. A wonderful outdoor kitchen can be found beside the pool area and offers a dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, small steam oven plus cutlery / crockery. There 2 options for BBQ’s – a built in one in the outdoor kitchen plus a gas BBQ.



There is ample parking directly in front of the house or indeed at the 2 designated parking areas just below the property. One of the parking areas is covered and offers electrical points. There is also a large open parking space at the entrance of Can Picassa Tafona.

The enchanting Mallorcan town of Pollensa is just a few minutes’ drive, Pollensa is a town rich in history & culture, its many points of interest attract visitors from far and wide! Beautiful cobbled streets surround the main square and there is a vast selection of restaurants, cafes, shops and historical sites to visit. Puerto Pollensa lies a few kilometres to the North, with its glorious beaches and a further selection of restaurants and cafes to enjoy!

Can Picassa Tafona offer reversible hot/cold air conditioning in all of the bedrooms, kitchen, cinema room, and guest annex, In the cinema room, there is also a pellet burner available. with two outlet vents, which also provide extra heat for the two bedrooms close by! In the main living area/ study, there is a traditional log burner fire available for use during your stay. A small supply of logs can be provided and you can easily buy a couple of sacks locally in town if necessary. There are also 2 portable oil radiators available.

- A booking fee of 150 EUR will be charged on every booking

- When booking you will be subject to pay the Balearic Eco tax of 2.20 EUR per night per person

- A refundable breakage deposit, the amount of which is property related, will also be required when booking
