Nestled in the heart of Old Mammoth, the Chateau Blanc community affords convenient access to fishing, hiking, restaurants, shops, the newly renovated twin cinema, Mammoth's cutting edge Rock 'n Bowl entertainment venue, as well as a public children's playground- all just steps from your door. With three generous bedrooms and 2 full baths, you and your whole family can stretch out and enjoy all that Mammoth has to offer. This property has a ground floor entrance, but is a two level unit inside.

A stop for the free town shuttle is located just outside the complex entrance, for easy access to all of Mammoth's shopping, dining, outdoor sports and amenities, including the world famous ski resort. In the warm seasons you will find the hot tub and swimming pool conveniently located just off the bedrooms, its like having your own pool in your own backyard. At the end of a long day enjoying Mammoth's numerous outdoor activities, warm up in front of your very own mountain style wood stove for some tea or cocoa and enjoy a movie or the game on the large flat screen TV w/DVD player (a TV is afforded in both downstairs bedrooms and the living room). With vaulted ceilings, floor to ceiling windows, a full kitchen, seating for eight in the dining room/breakfast bar, community laundry, community sauna/pool/hot tub, private complimentary WiFi, and a private deck, Chateau Blanc #13 represents a tremendous value for your next mountain vacation.

Good ski experience

The house wasn’t far from the village, ski area, or Vons which was very convenient. Also very near the trash can which was very helpful to clean up at the end. However, the door was frozen when we came to check in and after making calls and texts, we didn’t get any help. Other than that, everything else was pretty nice and cozy.

Easy Stay, Good Location

All around a good experience. The only negatives we found we found were that some of the neighbors could be heard in the middle of the night from the upstairs bedroom since it seemed to let noise from outside in easily, and then the beds were a bit firmer than we typically like (but that’s a personal preference thing). Outside of that things were good.

Great Mammoth Spot

Convenient location in Mammoth, right on the shuttle stop, near Vons and Grocery Outlet. Accommodations were as described and the condo was clean at move in. 15" of snow was plowed out of the parking lot early morning after a storm allowing cars to get out and head to the mountain.

The place is fine but has zero updates. The hot tub was not working which bummed out the kids since it’s a tradition to do that after a long day skiing. The checkout list is financially very punitive if you so much as forget to turn off a light. Would not stay here again.

Nice place to stay. Quiet, but only a two block walk to Vons. Had everything needed. Two comfy recliners by windows were very nice. The community pool and hot tub visible from upstairs dining room windows and accessible from downstairs bedroom was fantastic for children that spent a lot of time there. Downstairs beds were comfy, while the one in the upstairs room was quite hard.

Great location

This townhouse is located in the Old Mammoth area, away from the glitz of the Village resort. It is less than a block from a grocery store and a number of restaurants, including the long running comfort restaurant The Stove. There are bicycle rentals and a great new coffee shop down the street. Also city shuttle stops. The townhouse itself is well taken care of. The complex's pool and spa are right out the back door. I will try to get this same townhouse next time I am in Mammoth Lakes.

Nice Condo

The condo was as advertised. Not a modern condo but efficient for my needs. The condo's neighborhood is quiet. Its walking distance to a few resturants, Vons and equipment rental stores. The pool was refreshing for my children. Parking was ample (2 cars) right in front. I would stay again specially when traveling with a big group (7 of us).

Great stay!

We had a group 7 and had plenty of room! Great location with free shuttle to the ski mountain right outside complex. Plenty of racks for skis and poles, washer and dryer right in unit. Furnishings are a bit old but in good shape and unit is clean. Also a great value. Thanks so much for a great weekend!

Great place, great location, some caveats

The place is great overall. The good: It is a 2-minute car ride to Vons and the rental shops, and it is next to the bus stop for the free shuttle that will take you to the slopes. The place is clean and comfortable. The fireplace adds a nice ambience. The caveats: The three queen beds were smaller than we had expected, and were more like double beds. The shower in one of the bathrooms did not work for us. Overall it was a nice weekend experience.
