Classy and comfortable

This place was perfect for our stay, with all the comforts of home. There was quality cookware, sharp knives and pretty much everything you’d need to prepare a nice meal. We couldn’t find wine glasses , a salad spinner or a steaming colander but those aren’t “must haves”. We loved the decor, art and comfortable bed and would have appreciated a softer pillow. Thank you for a great stay!

Beautiful condo, management isn’t great

Cabin itself was beautiful and luxurious and location was central. The hot tub was also awesome & the community was full of other friendly families and skiiers. However, we weren’t impressed with the management or support during our stay. If we had a question, it could take up to 12 hours to hear back from Vacasa, not at all the personal experience we’re used to when going the Airbnb/VRBO route. Not to mention, w how snowy of a season this year was, waiting hours to hear back when internet is down or because an area of the house is snowed in is not ideal. We stayed 9 nights and were provided 1 loads worth laundry detergent and told that was all we got when requesting more. There were 3 bags of trash in the garage when we arrived and the snow and ice was never shoveled or salted so we couldn’t utilize garage. Also, light sleepers beware. We could hear every footstep above us and our unit would shake when a neighbor opened the garage. That’s not property management’s fault but something to note. We also slipped 3 times in the shower but caught ourselves. However, I’d recommend putting anti slip down to avoid guests getting injured. Home truly is beautiful and we’d stay again but just under the expectations that responses will be extremely slow and you’re kinda on your own if something goes wrong.

great, but far from everything, cell dead szone

Cabin was nice, spacious for only one bedroom. Unfortunately we kept hearing people upstairs stomping around and people going up and down the stairs, so it made it difficult to enjoy. The condo is secluded, far from the stores, village and mountain. Forget about wanting to make calls that don’t require wifi or texts that don’t require wifi, complete dead zone. Lastly, the parking situation is very odd, you’re in luck if the people next door don’t block the garage, trying to get in contact with property management is another hassle. I would probably not stay in any of these properties because it isn’t convenient if you’re planning to ski or board.

Beautiful, clean, comfortable cabin!

We loved our stay here. The cabin was beautiful, well-appointed, comfortable. The only small issue was that the local property manager was difficult to get a hold of. We had a few issues with the smoke alarm/fire detectors going off. I was able to disable it and placed a call with the local property manager...who never followed up to take care of it. Not a big deal. Wonderful place to stay. We wish we could have stayed there another week!

Very nice townhouse for 2. Wonderful accommodations. Western themed home with huge kitchen and family room. Close enough to town for a quick run to the market, but out far enough to be quiet. Easy to find. Please tell the home owners they have a mouse in their place. We purchased some squaw bread from Schat's in Bishop on our way to Mammoth and left it out overnight on the kitchen counter. Took a few days before we noticed the little fella chewed through the plastic bag and nibbled on a few pieces. Did not deter from an overall excellent experience. Would definitely try and stay here again on future visits to the Eastern Sierras.

The Lodges 1 bedroom

This is a very nice place. Perfect for two; it seems that it would be cramped for 4. All as advertised. Great neighborhood, the best area in the Mammoth area for sure. Only 1 mild complaint - there was only one log for the fireplace! Very small thing, but considering how nice everything else is, just putting a few more logs next to the fireplace would be a nice thing.

Very rude unacommodating owners

When we first arrived to this VRBO rental here in Mammoth, I discovered that the place only accommodated two people and not four like it was advertised in the VRBO listing. I contacted the owner and they told me there was a blowup mattress in the closet. We blew up the mattress and the mattress quickly deflated. Also, there were the sheets that came with the blow up mattress did not even fit. The owners have the heat set at 55°. Given that it is 15° outside having the heater set this low does not keep the place warm! I tried changing the temperature in the middle of the night and was not able to.

Lovely place in the mountains

Modern clean homey and comfortable. This is a 2 bedroom condo home but the master is sealed off for the owners use. No worries the 2nd bedroom is terrific with nice bath. We enjoyed the comfortable chairs and couch and kitchen. Would have loved to sit outside on the deck but mammoth was inundated with ash and smoke from the fires. So was not to be this visit. Will definitely stay again in the fall.

Beautiful unit

The owner of the unit made sure everything was perfect! The place was gorgeous and you have everything you need for a perfect family getaway. Two suggestions (1) add brighter recess lights to lighten up the living area a bit and (2) have the thermostat set at a more comfortable temperature of 70 instead of 67 degrees as this southern Cali lady was a bit cold. Other than that everything is perfectly in place! Will stay here again!

Beautiful condo but...

I've stayed in 3 different condos in Mammoth in the last 5 weeks. While this is the nicest actual condo as far as the way it looks, upgrades, beautifully appointed, etc., I would stay at either of the other 2, which didn't LOOK nearly as nice because of the details. We arrived to a dishwasher full of dishes, dishes left out on the counter and not fully cleaned counters. There were only 2 pieces of firewood inside, no kindling and we couldn't find any more firewood at the condo. It may have been buried in snow but they should have brought in plenty of wood for at least one fire and have firewood that is covered by a tarp available outside. One of the bathrooms ran out of toilet paper and there wasn't an extra roll. No extra in the other bathroom either. Biggest problem was the noise from the unit above. It sounded like a herd of elephants was running around up there. I expect that in the older complex's in Mammoth, but not from newer construction. Too bad, because visually, it's a gorgeous condo!
