This 3 bedroom + loft, 2.5 bathroom is centrally located in town with convenient access to The Village and Main St Promenade, and has views of the Sherwin Mountain range. Modern mountain living doesn't get any better than this...a custom home right in the heart of it all offering all the amenities you need. Relax in the private hot tub on the lower-level deck after a long day enjoying Mammoth Lakes and the surrounding area, or grill on the private BBQ on the upper deck while soaking in the views. Whip up a home cooked meal in the spacious and well-appointed kitchen, with granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances and built in wine storage. The home features beautiful hardwood flooring and custom upgrades including a gas fireplace with stone surround, split log mantle, large flatscreen TV, private outdoor hot tub, gas grill, and a private 2-car garage.
On the top level of this townhouse, the loft features a full bed and flatscreen TV, perfect for the kiddos. On the next mid-level down the master suite is located boasts a King bed, private balcony, vaulted ceilings, spacious interior, flatscreen 55" Smart TV and private bathroom complete with double vanity and a stand-up shower and soaking tub. The second and third bedrooms are both on the lower level with a shared hallway full bathroom with tub/shower combo. The private hot tub is accessed from the deck from the main Queen bedroom on this lower level which is also equipped with a pack-n-play for your little one. The third bedroom features full over full bunk beds, offering sleeping for an additional 4, with flatscreen TV with cable and streaming capabilities, this is the perfect den for the kiddos! On the main entrance level, you have the convenience of a private 2 car garage (garage clearance 7' 5") please see garage measurements below. Laundry room with washer and dryer to get all the chores done, and a 1/2 bath and mud entry way. Cozy on the couch around the gas fireplace while watching TV on the large 55" Smart TV with full cable access. A dining area that seats 6 with additional bar seating at the kitchen for 2 allows you to enjoy family meals, leading out to the upper private deck with grill and seating with Mountain views. This home also allows pets, so you can bring your beloved furry friends to complete your mountain getaway. Mammoth Gateway Village is a small, luxury development with only 11 freestanding, highly desirable, townhomes. You can walk to The Village at Mammoth, Sierra Star golf course and Mammoth's free shuttle system is right at the top of the street on Main Street. A short walk to Main Street Promenade allows you to enjoy the renowned Schat's Bakery or grab a gourmet coffee from Black Velvet Coffee. With retail stores also right there, you can rent e-bikes and hop on or hit the shops with no hassle. All guests receive complimentary full access to Snowcreek Athletic Club to enjoy facilities including indoor heated pool, steam/sauna, full fitness facility, yoga, pilates, cycle studio, trampoline room and more. This Mammoth condo sleeps a maximum of 10 people, and comes with only 2 parking spaces inside the garage. PLEASE NOTE: Larger vehicles may not fit in the garage bays. The hot tub was very dirty making it unusable. This was disappointing as it was one of the main things I looked for in a rental. The hot tub is also directly outside one of the bedrooms and the motor ran all night which was disruptive for those sleeping in that room. The primary bedroom was also very loud and bright. I have stayed in this complex previously and I think this particular unit gets far more street noise than other units. Other than the hot tub the rest of the house was very clean. The ice machine does not work. Management offered to send maintenance but we opted to buy ice rather than have someone come over. The location is also very walkable which we enjoyed.
8 of us stayed here for a ski weekend with our two pups and it was a perfect! The location was great - close to the gondola and to the restaurants/ bars. The place itself was great! Cozy and spacious. It does however get toasty in the house- a bit of a balancing act but we loved the place nonetheless and will def be back.
The location was perfect. Close to the village and the buses. But the property itself was a bit disappointing. The washing machine didn't work so we had laundry we were unable to do. And the oven also didn't turn on so we were unable to cook. We only realized this after spending money on groceries and having them go to waste. The hot tub was filthy but functional at least. It just felt like the high price was due to the location and the space itself wasn't being properly cared for. Disappointing since the location is great and we'd otherwise have wanted to return there.
Condo was comfortable but master bedroom has a non draped window so it is an early wake-up. Internet did not work for the entire stay. Condo is also next to Main road going to Mammoth Mountain so not ideal for noise sensitive people. 2 car garage parking only, do not reccomend large vehicles like a suburban.
We were a group of friends (4 couples and a single) and dogs. The property is dog friendly, close to the shuttle stop for free transportation to the mountain, and relatively modern. The photos on the website are deceiving, most notably the double bed is not a bedroom. It is a loft with no door, closet, nor privacy - you can hear the living room and common spaces because of the open wall. We had some minor issues with our stay (water filter broken, jacuzzi was luke warm and had a musty smell). The management office did offer to fix the water filter, but this should have been done before arrival in order to not interrupt our stay. If you plan to cook, bring your own cooking oil, salt, and an extra roll of paper towels as the unit did not come with these items.
Overall, itâs expensive for the bedrooms which are really like 2 private bedrooms, a bunk bed room, and an open loft with a bed stuck in it, deceiving, and everything is managed by Mammoth Reservations even though you pay an extra fee to use VRBO for booking. Mammoth Reservations even sends you a second set of paperwork to fill out.
Check in and check out were seamless - pick up and drop off keys at the main office a few minutes away. The unit only has 2 parking spots which is near impossible if you have 9 people staying and have gear. There is no ski/snowboard closet either to store gear or boots.
The decor is nice and the location worked well for people to go and come at their own pace. However, for the cost of the property - it was not great.
Beautiful Christmas with family The place is very accommodating to a group of eight lots of dishes we couldâve used a few more larger pans since it was Christmas but thatâs just a sidenote everything was very nice
We really enjoyed our stay in this condo. There were 2 adults and 5 kids and we had plenty of room. We liked that the primary bedroom is in a section of the house on its own for tons of privacy.
There is plenty of room in the entry to stop and take off your snow gear set them down so the rest of the condo remains clear.
Overall the place was really clean. We would definitely stay here again.
