Mice!! My family found mice running around the upstairs part of the home. We were able to catch one but unfortunately there were more. They left a trail of food on the floors. We told management but they do not communicate right away. Management (Nomadness rentals) tried to offer 200 off my stay as compensation but they wanted me to sign a non-disclosure agreement. They tried to keep me from leaving a bad review. The home itself is nice and in a great location. The game room needs to be cleaned and upgraded (several broken games). The garage parking is tight and only one vehicle fits. I just didn’t like how management handled the situation.

Horrible Experience

When we arrived, the place was not cleaned from the previous tenant. They sent the cleaning crew hours later. While the cleaning fee was waived, the cleaners did a poor job cleaning the entire place with pubic hair left behind on multiple beds. We were not provided a key to the recreation room until days later. We were not given a garage door opener and were accused of stealing it. The cable going into the living room was severed so there was no wifi available until I moved the wifi router up to the second floor where the cable was functioning. The state of the entertainment area was a complete mess. When asked for a discount off the stay for the above grievances we were completely denied and the company accused us of breaking a coffee pot and floorboards which were already broken when we arrived since clearly they did not inspect the place prior to our visit given the cleaning crew was not there. They were also very slow in returning any communication that I left via voicemail.

Nail Cutters in with the cutlery, awful Wi-Fi, Old appliances but good location.

No confirmation from the host as to whether we were able to check in early. Wi-Fi was horrendous and not up to scratch. Video calls were impossible. Kitchen Appliances were 15/20 years old and in need of renewing. The upstairs bed was broken and very uncomfortable. Worst of all, there were nail cutters mixed in with the kitchen utensils which is truly disgusting. Lots of potential here as it is a good location but the afore mentioned issues need to be rectified, especially given the price we paid.

Mammoth Snowboarding trip

Absolutely GREAT location. All amenities were working except for the grill (but we did go during a winter storm..) Our only issue was a representative we spoke to by the name of Jessica. We were getting weather warnings for mammoth and we just called ahead of our trip so that we could get a better idea on what we needed to do as far as getting to mammoth if it would be possible. Unfortunately, she was very rude and unprofessional. To the point that it did worry us that our stay would be affected. We considered booking a different property just incase but then Moria (and I’m really sorry if I misspelled that) was just beyond wonderful and reassuring. We didn’t even tell her of our experience or concern about the other rep, she was just very kind and understanding. She made us glad we stuck to our trip plans! Overall great stay, definitely recommend this place to our friends and family

Looks great in the pictures...

The unit has been recently updated. However, they have not quite finished. Furnishings are scarce; no end tables in living room, no chair or bench in bedrooms; no area rugs. They provided a coffee pot that makes 2 cups of coffee in a unit that sleeps 10. The toaster did not work, the garage door did not work,the clothes dryer did not work, the heater in the primary bedroom did not work. The management company provided a small space heater for the bedroom. They did not provide a key to the recreation room. They did respond to all our requests to replace other items. However, we did not want to spend our vacation time communicating with the management company about problems at the unit. It should have been checked out before renting it to guests and the above items replaced or repaired before we arrived.

Winter wonderland

This was a great location! It's a 9 min walk in the snow to the village and gondola. We easily fit a group of 10, but the home can fit a larger group. The beds were comfortable and the unit is recently updated. I have never seen so much snow in my life. It was like being in a snow globe. The roads were cleared daily so that was a plus considering how much snow came down. The snow plow crew worked non stop to keep the roads safe. Only one car fit snuggly in the garage, my Volvo. A truck will not fit, but it can be parked right outside the garage, which is what my brother did. The hosts quickly responded to any questions. The TV in the main living room and master bedroom weren't working but that was okay were weren't there to watch TV. I'm going to definitely book this place again in the near future.

Great location.

The location was great because we could walk to restaurants and a bus stop. We were three couples so the fact that the place has three floors, each with bedrooms and bathrooms worked well for us. The third floor is a loft, so that couple had some noise from those in the kitchen and living room because they were early to bed. The kitchen is small but has just about everything you would need. The laundry facilities were new and worked well. The place is on the older side with limited decor, but that wasn't important to us. The only downside was that the Internet often barely worked. We were warned about this in the instructions so it didn't come as a surprise.

Beautiful property great location

Overall this was a wonderful place to stay. It was clean and updated and had lots of amenities. The only disappointing factor was, we were there for a 30th birthday party and I had asked if they could decorate prior to our arrival. They said I would have to purchase my own decorations and send it to them abd could decorate for $45 per half hour. I bought a small 30th birthday kit off Amazon and had it delivered to them. They did decorate which was lovely but they then charged me $180 for 2 hours which was completely ridiculous. There were literally 15 decorations that they stapled to the walls snd balloons and paper plates and cups. When I asked how this would possible take 2 hours, she replied with a text stating there were travel, decorating and trash removal charges. So overall lovely place to stay just don’t ask them to do anything for you as they definitely take advantage of profiting from it.
