Getting Around:
Location logistics: Within about 5 minutes of the condo you can reach Eagle Lodge (winter snow play/ski school), Mammoth Creek Park and the Community Recreation Center/LA Kings Ice, stroller-friendly biking on the Town Loop by Sierra Star, creekside exploring and fishing along Mammoth Creek, the Mammoth Museum at Hayden Cabin, and The Village at Mammoth for seasonal gondola rides, treats, and plaza fun.
Great location! Easy check in process and all as expected. The only thing I would recommend is investing in smart TVâs, youâll probably save money with not spending on cable! It was a struggle trying to turn the tv on even with following the directions.
The place was nice. The fireplace was very small and the bedding they had for the pull out couch looked like it was dirty or stained from the beginning. There was also no blanket or set of pillows for the pull out couch. The complex seems nice with covered parking. Unfortunately one of the hot tubs was barely warm all weekend and the other one was nasty and in need of cleaning.
Had a great time. Had everything we needed. Hot tub key was missing and was supposed to be dropped off, but not big deal with snowstorm.Otherwise great location to the mountains and nice fireplace with fully stocked kitchen.
The condo was exactly as listed with a fully stocked kitchen, plenty of towels, and a short walk to the parking garage. The outside barbecues worked great and all of the neighbors were so friendly! Absolutely no complaints. My only advice to guests is to look at the map of the complex found on the Summit at Mammoth website, and locate the Huntington building, as I believe there are 8 different buildings total which can be confusing. This complex is directly across the street from Eagle lodge, so we canât wait to come back in the winter!
Hi, We were very impressed with the unit. The lights were on for us as well as the heat. Thank you so much for a wonderful unit. We would ask that better directions to the Huntington Building be included in the check-in process. We found it difficult to know where that particular building was. We texted for more directions and did not receive an answer. We finally asked another resident and found the building. We would also ask for better directions in using the keypad. When we touched it 2 random numbers popped up and we finally figured out to touch them to make them disappear and then the keypad lit up so we could punch in the code.
This was a great stay for what we needed. It would have been excellent with a few things. 1) the directions to find the location are confusing. 2) the description of how to find the unit once you've found the building is lacking. 3) it was disappointing that the unit didn't provide coffee in the cupboards .... but that's a 5 star. We have a VRBO and we provide coffee.
