Guests have access to the entire 1 bedroom Suite with kitchenette, family room, bathroom & patio seating area. Mermaid’s Retreat is on the first floor of the charming Blue Island Inn on a quiet, safe, relaxing nice island street. You will receive a 4 digit code - along with the vacation villa address - to your entrance door which work on your dates so you don't need to worry about keys! super easy! ONE car parking spot (there's no other parking & I don't have other safe parking ideas that aren't a high TOW RISK - so please only plan to bring one car or choose another property. )
***Smart TV - login to your favorite tv streaming service from home with your own login info from home. OR enjoy basic free channels on our smart TV (no cable/dish. just smart tv. For popular sports games, End Zone or Lock n Key are popular with sports fans.

This was a really cute place to stay! We were right on Lemon Bay with the heated pool right outside our Mermaid Retreat! Was perfect for 2 people.

We were greatly appreciative of how clean and nicely decorated our suite was. Everything we could have possibly needed was right there! The Mermaid's Retreat Suite has a separate bedroom, which was a bonus. We also loved the studio suite we stayed in last year. The pool is nice and warm, and we were usually the only ones there. Great communication with the host and the on-site staff! Lots of places to eat on the Key, and even more in nearby Englewood. The location is also within an hour of several other neat towns. We enjoyed Fisherman's Village in Punta Gorda, where we went on a sunset and Christmas light cruise. We hope to make an annual visit!

Englewood is a nice little town with an old Florida Feel. Mermaids Retreat has a beautiful location right on the water of the Bay with the Gulf beach a short walk across the street. We really enjoyed our weekend there and look forward to returning. Amy who handled the booking made sure our check-in went smoothly and we highly recommend this property for your stay!

Overall it was good. Stayed in the Mermaid Retreat. Quiet location, on the bay with easy access to the beach across the street. The place was clean and the pool was a perfect addition. Not a lot to do on Manasota Key but if you’re looking to just relax, this is the place. Be sure to try all the restaurants on the key.We hit the perfect week with not a lot of people there. Most times we were the only ones on the beach and at the pool which made it very relaxing.

Amazing vacation at mermaid’s retreat!

My husband and I spent a week at mermaids retreat and absolutely loved it! We took full advantage of the kayaks and went out on the bay multiple times. Beach access was easy to find and not far away at all. The space was perfect for two of us and it was well stocked with all the things you need from coffee to beach chairs. Would stay again!

The condo was perfect for our stay, a vacation to relax and hunt shark teeth! The room was very clean and decorated well. The sofas were a bit uncomfortable. The pool was warm, clean, and never crowded. We were so thankful for all the beach gear available to use! I recommend they get a larger sign for the driveway entrance, the unit is the last one down a lane. The area is still recovering from storm damages, this is why I noted the are a 4/5. There are several good restaurants nearby to choose from. It is a short drive to Venice and a short drive to Walmart for supplies/groceries. Definitely would return!!

All was great. Only want to point out that the door leading into bathroom was stuck and appears to be water damaged or rotted in the bottom. Also could not turn on the main light by living room/kitchen area. Not complaining, just thought you should know.
