Staff were super welcoming on arrival and so accommodating - allowed us to check in 2 hours early. Had sweets and chocolates on arrival as a valentines treat - a lovely gesture! We were disappointed and didn’t reach our expectation for a 4-star hotel. The room wasn’t cleaned when it is supposed to be cleaned everyday. The bin was not even emptied, the used glasses were still there not being washed when we came back to the hotel.We stayed for 3 nights total and not worth the price. The room was very clean, bed comfortable. However I found the lighting poor, I don't understand why hotels don't have a big light. The bathroom felt like it was for a swimming baths. for a superior king room it was very utilitarian, I was expecting a bit more luxury. The wifi was spotty and I couldn't see any instructions on how to use it. The staff were lovely and accommodating, really lovely people. Thank you to them. The room doors are so heavy and the almighty bang they made when closing was terrible.
