I’m a truck driver, so I drive a lot.. when I did my check out, the Manager, don’t want to print a paper bill, and you know that as a proff in case of a DOT inspection, he was rude and this was the first and last stop in Red Roof Inn.

The desk person gave us directions to our room and the directions were wrong. We had to carry our luggage around for several minutes because the room did not exit as directed. A member of the cleaning staff volunteered to help us locate the room it was in a different building than directed. We were disappointed that there there was no fridge and no micro wave. Barebones room with very small bathroom.

Our room was supposed to be smoke-free....maybe it is now but the smell of smoke was ingrained into everything including the pillows and mattress. The shower/tub was dirty including previous person's wash cloth hanging on the curtain rod. We selected Red Roof because it is pet friendly but there was dog poop everywhere and you had to watch where you were stepping and it stunk. Also the heating/cooling unit was stuck and it was too hot to sleep. We would have left but it was a late check in and we were too tired to go elsewhere.

It's nice and inexpensive, but I do wish they hd small refrigerators in the room. I can do without the other amenities, like irons, but I really would like to keep a cold drink in my room.
