Room booked was the Family room (had filtered for 2 adults and 2 children), Husband went back to reception to ask if this was the correct room, they said yes. We were given was a tiny double room, a Cot was added to the already small room which left no space to walk, so we had to move it. All 4 of us had to sleep in a small double bed,
Construction work began at 8am, waking and upsetting both baby and child, we rang the front desk to complain and ask for this loud drilling noise to stop. 10 mins later it had still not stopped so we rang again, the drilling noise was SO loud, directly in the room next to us. We had ZERO communication regarding this, not even a heads up to let us know there was work going on. Awful experience!
Thankfully we were Checking Out that morning, so we just started to get ready to leave as the kids were so upset they wouldn't sleep.
We had booked this hotel for my Babys 1st Birthday trip to Manchester, such a let down.
No lift access - which was fine for us as we requested an accessible room. The car park is free.
Only positive of this Hotel is - room was clean.
