Great spot for snowmobile trip

My husband, his parents, and our two dogs spent the weekend here. It was perfect for us! Easy access to the snowmobile trails from the house (have to cross the road then drive down a not busy road about 1/2 mile), plenty of parking for our two trucks and trailers, and extra space for our dogs to run around and enjoy the snow. Plenty of room in the house for us to lounge around comfortably. We would stay here again!

Snowmobile Trip

The cabin was perfect for our snowmobile trip to the UP. Close to the trails and the drive was awesome for a couple trailers. The cabin was very clean and everything we could ask for. We will rent again next year!!

There are some features of this property that could use some work. There are stains on the carpet in one bedroom upstairs. There is a lot of "junk" outside the cabin. It was clean other than that and an "OK" property. It could be better with some additional work on making things a little more "spiffy".

UP Cabin

The cabin is nicely done but there were several things that could have been better. The cabin was just adequately clean but not exceptional. The toaster did not work and there was not a can opener. Given that there are not a lot of places to eat and the closest town is 13 miles away and only has one fast food place it is pretty important to make sure everything works and the guests have what they need to cook. Directions were not provided for the furnace which took a while to figure out. There was not a channel guide provided. Typically when we book through VRBO everything is provided and clear. That was not the case with this property.

We had a great time staying at the property. Cozy with all the amenities needed. Would definitely stay here again. Definitely follow the directions given, we did not get there until 10pm and without the directions I’m not sure we would have located the property until the next morning.

My, my husband and our dog were pleased with our stay. Convinently located for different day trips to munising or manistique, while having the peace and privacy of the woods. Easy chek in. Just make sure you read the directions when trying to find the exact location.

Very peaceful, well equipped cabin

I’ve never stayed somewhere as quiet and peaceful as this place. The only thing my wife and I have for input is, the directions could be a little more descriptive. But other than that, this place is perfect, we’ll definitely be booking a stay here again and I’ll recommend this property to anyone I know looking to vacation in the UP. Thanks!

Perfect Get-way

This property was perfect for my family. You have the feel of being remote and rustic but with all of the amenities. Definitely use the directions emailed by the owners, gps will not get you there. The outdoor property is big enough to play games, put up a tent, and sit by the fire. We absolutely loved it and it’s really within a reasonable distance to both lake superior and upper Lake Michigan. Highly recommend!!!

Cozy cabin and wonderful night sky!

Our family enjoyed this cabin! The interior felt like a big log cabin in the mountains. The kitchen was well stocked, clean and even had a few groceries that other guest can leave for the next visitors. It is close to a small town and just a few minutes from all the attractions in Munising. The night sky is just beautiful! We star gazed for hours! All linens and towels were fresh and clean. Most of our time was spent chasing waterfalls, so we were only here in the evenings, but it was the perfect place to come back and relax.

Cozy Cabin

The cabin is just as pictured. Tasteful cabin decor. Very comfortable beds. Living room super cozy. Room sizes perfect to just hang out and not feel cramped. You walk in & smell bad, couldn't open windows/doors all screens holes main door screen open completely at bottom, husband FIXED some. NO LAMPS in rooms DANGEROUS I had to buy lights.
